I believe i’ve figured out what the mystery fruit on the fireplace is! Miniature Mandarian Oranges, just saw them at The Fresh Market last week.

The shiny skinned fruit on the mantle look like persimmons. But I’m not sure if they’re hardy enough to be used as decoration. You’d have to ask a florist type.

I love Meridian House (sigh). It’s only 3 blocks from where I live; unfortunately it was out of my budget. Beautiful wedding!

Does anyone know what the fruit garlands are? They look like oranges, but they look smaller and more multi-hued than a typical orange. So pretty and would make such a lovely accent to a Spring, Summer or Fall wedding.
