OMG your husband’s taste in music sounds like my Fiance’s! Someone pinch me. I have seen a similar venue in my area, but they don’t have chandeliers! I mean who refurbishes a place like this and adds modern lights?

Hahaha! Well, check out our DIY wedding cd favour for some hints. We walked down the aisle to three songs from 1966: God Only knows, by the Beach Boys; If I were a Carpenter, Bobby Darrin; and Oh How Happy, by Shades of Blue (recessional song). Michael made a 4 hour play list on our ipod for the dinner part of the reception– mostly 60s and 70s Philly soul, mustache rock, jazz, and all kinds of eclectic things– he’s a musician and a DJ, who firmly believe that very little good was recorded after 1971!Our DJ friends spun similar music at the party. And the good thing is, most of that stuff is great to dance to.
