We have two different real weddings today on SMP…both vineyard affairs. The first is a bit more traditional in classic Napa Valley style with gorgeous, organically elegant touches. The second, which we’ll feature later this afternoon, is a bit more contemporary with chic, totally modern detailing. I chose to feature these side by side, because I thought that it was so interested to feature two weddings just down the road from each other, that really use their venue’s natural ambiance to create a style that is absolutely lovely and seamless.
So, without further ado, the first wedding was sent to me by the oh-so-talented Jenne Hohn a planner in the wine country of San Francisco’s Bay Area…

Here are some details from Jenne…
College sweethearts Margaret and Scott tied the knot at The Carneros Inn on Sunday, October 19, 2008. Their wedding weekend was filled with fantastic events that showcased the Napa Valley wine country. All guests were invited to a Saturday afternoon wine tour and tasting at Artesa Winery. The rehearsal dinner took place at Sonoma’s contemporary El Dorado Kitchen.
More to come from this gorgeous wedding!

Beautiful dress!!
I'm so looking forward to the pictures to come, because that dress looks amazing! Who is the designer?
Who makes those shoes?!?!? I've been looking for shoes EXACTLY like that....
I second Allie's comment - please post anything you know about the SHOES!!!
working on getting the deets for you guys:)
The shoes are precious... As is the idea if inviting the wedding guest for a tour of the winery. Wish I was friends with them!
The best part for me is how happy she looks! she is glowing!
Shoes are Manolo Blahnik D'Orsay:) Swoon.
the carneros inn is stunning and the el dorado kitchen, yum! i was lucky enough to honeymoon there and WISHED that we had done a destination wedding instead. maybe a vow renewal for our 10th anniversary...
can't wait to see more pics!
I've been trying to find that shoe for you guys but haven't had much luck... I thought they might be by Manolo Blahnik because he makes an almost identical shoe but it comes in hot pink with a black feather or black with a teal feather... I haven't been able to find it in white or gold. Good luck!
oh - they are Manolo's - Yay!
from the bride...My dress was Vera Wang, my shoes were Manolo Blahnik. All the bridesmaid dresses were Vera Wang Maids
swoon is right! GORG... cannot find those shoes anywhere in white - just noticed Will's comment, only found the black & teal, and pink & black... just did about 20 minutes of searching but no luck!
probably out of my price range anyway. i bet this could be a DIY project.
Those shoes are TO DIE FOR! I love the color green for weddings.
Love, love, love the shoes! I wish I would have thought of that for my wedding!
I really wish you could see the detail of the dress up close. It was Beautiful!!
