Melissa wowed us way back in 2005 with her oh-so-flirty, oh-so chic collection of bridesmaids dresses…it was so ahead of the game in terms of fun cuts and styles, fabulous colors, the works. Well, she’s at it again, this time with a line that is more understated, a bit more elegant.

I had just put out the first 2009 Wedding Dress Picks (earlier this morning) when I got an email from one of our readers, Erica, who had fallen in love with Lea Ann Belter’s gowns and wanted to make sure that SMP readers knew all about her. I took one look at her gowns and completely agreed.
Simply beautiful. There really isn’t any other way to put it. The soft, wispy fabric paired with lace overlays and satin belts.
Another Jenny, a totally different look. Jenny Packham’s gowns wowed me with her Fall 2008 collection that we featured on SMP a few months back. Her style is a little more glam, a little more unabashed luxury and for the right bride, it’s basically as good as it gets.

We’ve totally enjoyed showing you all of the different elements of Kate and Mike’s beautiful wedding at Pine Knob Mansion in Clarkston, Michigan. There’s just something magical about the month of June, pretty peonies and lovingly created weddings! Kate had the luxury of time and patience and wonderful wedding vendors.
Last season, Amsale made me jump for joy when they release their oh-so-fab, pocket dress. It was so chic, so fashion forward of them. Well, my friends, this season…they’ve taken that same inspiration to all new levels. The 2009 collection is unbelievably gorgeous, perfect for any bride...

I hope that everyone had a great weekend! I spent the last couple of days looking through the blog to see what kind of a post we really needed and realized that it had been so long since I did a wedding dress feature! WAY too long, seeing that the dress is basically THE most important thing. Some would say.
So, I wanted to share my 2009 Fall/Spring picks from some of my favorite designer. Of course we have the heavy hitters like Vera and Oscar, but I wanted to bring in a few more...
