Jennifer emailed me about a month ago with pictures and details from her recent wedding…and when I saw them, there was just something special there. From her traditional ceremony held in a small chapel in Lexington, Kentucky to her ridiculously great reception at the Kentucky Aviation Museum (complete with airplanes hanging from the ceiling!). And of course, her dress…oh her wedding dress.

From Jennifer…
Trey proposed last February and we decided to plan a wedding for July – three years to the weekend of our first date. We have both been in many, many weddings and wanted to make sure that our wedding was a true reflection of our personalities and relationship instead of being a cookie cutter event and we wanted to make sure our guests had a great time. We spent a great deal of time thinking about what we love about where we live (Lexington, Kentucky) and the things that we love to do together and with our friends.
So much more to come!

Being from Lexington I can't wait to see more of this wedding. I love the brides dress!
Love the bride and the bridesmaids' dresses! Does anyone know what those little green flowers are in the hanging baskets on the church door?
Love the bride's dress and her hair! Can't wait to see more pictures!
I think the little green flowers are button mums.
SO excited to see a local wedding on here. Can't wait to see more.
Gorgeous Wedding !! Can you tell me where the groomsmen's suits are from? I'm looking for something similar. Thanks!
Here are the deets on the fashions...
The suits were from Brooks Brothers and were around $300. We worked with a great salesperson on a discount. The guys were happy to have something comfortable and that they could wear again. The ties were from TheTieBar.com and were only $15! They have tons of ties and they are all one price and east to sort by color.
The dresses (including mine) were from Bluegrass Bride, a great new boutique in Lexington. It is owned by sisters from Charleston and they are so wonderful with personal service. It made shopping for a dress a wonderful experience. The bridesmaids dresses were Badgley Mischka and my dress was designed by Kenneth Pool.
