Loving today’s Mountain Chic (as the fabulous Jen Fariello put it) wedding. Family and friends gathered together to celebrate the gorgeous couple…without fuss, without pretense. Just a simple, absolutely lovely affair…

Love, love, love! So much more to come! PS…how cute is the chalkboard? Have your guests write well wishes on a board, then snap a picture. So much more fun than a guestbook!

This looks like such a fun wedding and one which has the same vibe that I am striving for while planning mine. Thanks for featuring this.
One thing I would like to see more of in these featured weddings is the food that people serve. I feel like that completes the package and I would love to know more!
Great point! I will make a food effort in future weddings:)
Oddly enough I was looking online today for a chalkboard exactly like this one. Any idea of a good place to find one?
Where did you get the fabric? It's great!
They are bed sheets (circa the 1970's) from a thrift store. They had a bag full of all sorts of patterns so it was fun to pick and choose. We actually changed them during the event and had several hung up so guest could pick and choose where they wanted to play. Another cool thing we did was photograph everyone with vintage polaroid cameras with instant b&w and color film so guest could take a photo home with them. The cameras were rented from our local camera store so this was a really cheap way to have the photo booth idea.
Hi Jen!
Just wondering what recipe you used for your lemonade? and where you got your glass pitchers?
Thanks!
The chalkboard is genius. I hope you don't mine if I steal that one ;)
It's actually Pimms, not lemonade! we used jam jars as cups - which you can find anywhere!
