SMP Loves…Jenna Hein!
I was reminded of her ridiculously gorgeous calligraphy when I was making my morning Oh Joy! stop. And it’s for certain, I have fallen in love all over again. Her perfect lettering, her eye for style and design, her hugely impressive roster of clients. If I were getting married all over again, I’d book her in a hurry!

I love Jenna's work...I wanted to book her to do the calligraphy for my wedding and unfortunately she did not return a single email or phone call and I tried multiple times. She must be busy!

Jen, I had the exact same experience! Jenna did not respond to multiple attempts of mine to contact her. Sorry to know I was not the only one to be let down. She does do lovely work. We wound up finding another talented (and more responsive!) calligrapher, though, so all is well.
That's too bad. I had the exact opposite experience with Sarah Hanna! I had a pretty intricate job for her and she topped all my expectations. I am receiving wonderful compliments on my invitations and she is just a doll to work with, Her style looks very similar to Jenna's. Check her out at http://www.sarahhanna.com/ . It would seem to me that this person shouldn't be given the recognition that she was considering that her communication skils are sorely lacking.
I actually emailed Jenna around New Years to inquire about working with her and got a note saying she was going to be traveling in Europe for a few months so she was unavailable. It could be why she didn't respond to some folks, depending on when they reached out.
Anyways, her work is lovely and we found someone else, but I think that might be why she was MIA to some folks.
That's why they invented the "out of office" feature. It could definitely be why she didn't get back to some people...but I know I tried almost a year ago, and then about 3 months ago and nothing! I was completely bummed!

i would like to sincerely apologize for the few e-mails that slipped through the cracks. i was a senior visual display coordinator for Anthropologie up until 2 months ago and was consumed with the window displays in nyc. i recently left to do calligraphy full-time so if you love my work and have an occasion, i would love to hear from you.
Girls! Definitely, definitely, definitely put Jenna back on your radar. She is amazing. So amazing that she was officially SWAMPED for the past couple of months doing work for the best of the best. But, if you are looking for a brilliant calligrapher with such a gorgeous sense of style (I mean seriously...anthropologie, does it get any better?), she's your girl!

I had Jenna do the calligraphy for my invites for my wedding this past July and I could not be happier with both her work and communication.....and when I say communication...there was a LOT of it as I live in Wisconsin and her being in New York meant needing the invites to be sent back and forth. It was all worth it. She did a GREAT job and people are still complimenting it! Thank you so much Jenna!
I guess Jenna is now in Europe until 2010! I tried to contact her for my wedding. I found an awesome stand-in with a very similar, fun style. She is a pleasure to with. />
She is just starting out in her business but has been doing calligraphy for years! I got a great deal!
