After the two absolutely fabulous DIY projects that we featured this morning (the unbelievably great homemade vanilla favors that Kathleen, our DIY guru crafted and the absolutely gorgeous centerpieces that Natasha of Waterlily Pond designed), I knew we needed a real wedding that captured the same sweet, sophisticated DIY approach that I love so much.
Mary-Kevin and Patrick’s wedding was just that…and SO much more!

Here are some of the vendors that the couple used to help this undeniably gorgeous wedding come to fruition…
The invitations & origami paper were by Hello! Lucky with calligraphy by Crystal Kluge. All of the gorgeous florals were done by Modern Bouquet and that stunning chocolate cake was crafted by Fab Cakes and other baked goods by Miette Patisserie. The bride’s gorgeous gown was Jenny Yoo (who else!) and the Groom wore J. Crew.
And, last but so far from least, the photography was all captured by the oh-so-talented Carrie Mccluskey.
More to come!
Love the simplicity! This looks like the kind of wedding where you could really connect with friends and have some fun.
i love the elegantly simple tables. lovely!
I am swooning over that cake!
Where did they get place card holders (picture holders)? I love them!
hi anjeli -
i purchased the table card holders at www.ironaccents.com...they are kind of pricey, so i decided to sell them to another bride after the wedding to gain back some of the money i spent!
best,
mary-kevin
To the bride...I love the idea of the wish tickets. Where did you find them?
MK! My secret obsession is wedding blogs and I can't believe I've stumbled across yours...it is gorgeous. Every single detail is thoughtful and beautiful. You continue to amaze me! hope all is well.
Hi ...
I would love to know where you got the "wish" tickets too
I was wondering where you rented the gorgeous wooden tables from? I love them!!! I would love to rent them for my wedding at the Darlington House as well. Thanks!!
