I heart this wedding so much. It actually took place on one of Australia’s darkest days…where fires claimed the lives and the homes of hundreds upon thousands of people. The photographer nor the couple knew of the devastation that was happening just miles away and yet as ash rained down on the guests, the bride, the everything, they all knew that something really rare was happening. A moment of complete beauty on the ugliest day.

Oh my goodness! I love the picture of her running and also the one of them kissing. Wowsa! The color of the photos is amazing, the slightly sepia tone is awesome!
This wedding does seem wonderful & I admire the resolve to carry on. However there is an unintentionally offensive comment "It’s almost as if the ash and the aftermath of the heat (which included having to choose all new flowers right before the event, as the orginal ones scorched and died!), was meant to be". Only Australian readers would be aware that more 200 people died on this day, only a few towns away from the venue. One of the major fires is possibly the result of arson. I am surprised the photographer didn't mention that in her correspondence out of respect - there is no need to play down the beauty & the love in the wedding images, of course, but OTT sentiment is not necessary in this case. Good luck to the couple, as always.

I am a Melbourne girl living in the US and a big Style Me Pretty fan. I agree with Georgia that the bushfires are not something to be taken lightly but I loved looking at this gorgeous wedding that put a positive spin on the horrible fires that have happened at home. The photos are stunning and I hope you keep on featuring Aussie weddings to help my homesickness :)

The bridesmaid's flowers are Anthuriums.
I wish we had fields like that in Wales but we have to make do with rain!
