Real Wedding: Jessica & Anthony, II

Today, we are featuring an absolutely lovely wedding that the talented Sara France sent us. It’s elegant, it’s feminine, it’s totally romantic. Best of all though, it’s infused with incredibly personal touches that would make any guest swoon…

From the bride…

Anthony and I choose to see each other and spend time together prior to our ceremony.  It was our favorite part of the day, and it alleviated quite a lot of nerves.  We spent some time taking pictures with just the two of us.

The ceremony took place in Heritage Park.  Built by the Save Our Heritage Organization, the park is a collection of historical Victorian homes that were moved to the park and restored rather than being torn down.  I actually worked in one of the houses years ago, so the park has a special place in my heart.  My very talented maid of honor and her brother sang Moon River – which was the wedding song for both sets of my grandparents – as I walked with my father down the aisle.  We were blessed to have my father marry us, as he and my mom both have been along side us as our relationship grew.

I own my own wedding planning company that also does stationery design, and calligraphy, so naturally I made all our stationery items.  Our four layer save the dates detailed the weekends activities to all our guests, including local attractions, restaurants, and wedding related activities.  I also designed and made our invitations and welcome dinner invitations. All the signage at the reception site including the menu for the espresso bar, bar menu, table numbers, and sugar cube signs was all hand made as well.

So much more to come!
