A San Diego Beachside Wedding Overflowing With Warmth

February 12th. 2009 by Eddye | Filed Under | 13 comments

Tyler and Matthew are both serving in the US Navy, stationed in England. They are avid beach lovers and wanted a beachside wedding that reflected their fun-loving personalities. Karen Tran (an amazing floral and event designer), along with Tyler’s mom … created a day no one in attendance will ever forget!

The wedding colors revolved around orange and apple green.

Combined with the natural hues of the sand and sea, a wondrously beautiful landscape evolved.

The wedding reception was held in the ballroom of the Hotel del Coronado , San Diego, California.

How utterly romantic is this decor! The ‘Del’ is well-known for it’s ‘Crown’ chandeliers. Hanging crystals, floating candles, a seamless GOLD dance floor and burnt-copper colored pillows on the lounge chairs completed the overall feeling of warmth, excitement and love.
