In my opinion, Ritzy Bee is one of the prettiest wedding blogs out there…Maria always features the loveliest details, from perfect flowers to cakes and decor that will make your heart swoon. So when I saw her favorite wedding, filled with the most wonderful details, I wasn’t surprised in the slightest…

This gorgeous wedding was photographed by Little Black Book member, Our Labor of Love. Here are some details from Maria…
I love this wedding because it is without a doubt so fresh and unique…and full of the best details! From the clean lines of the all white room ceremony space and the more playful reception room that featured a graffiti wall and a huge letter “A” light sculpture, the space at Studio 900 was the perfect setting for a modern and unique affair!

More from Maria…“Ashley and Dusty wanted their ceremony and reception to have a bespoke, handmade, modern and vintage theme. They decided to serve cake and ice-cream versus traditional wedding fare and almost everything about this wedding was handmade – from the invitations to the confetti packets. Equally impressive to the great color palette, original ideas and great taste of the couple was the fact they managed to keep this wedding at a budget of $13,000! This wedding is inspiring and impressive to me in every way and I love when couples can express their style and personality so effortlessly through their wedding details.”

Thanks so much to Maria of Ritzy Bee and to Our Labor of Love for sharing this delightful wedding with us!
I am in LOVE with the white decorations. They remind me of the paper poms from Martha but look more like coffee filters. Any idea how these were done, what kind of paper was used?
I was also looking for that same information on those white decorations!
Me too...me too!!! I thought they were cupcake wrappers...but regardless, they are adorable!!!
I love how she has an Anne Wood bird peeping out of her bouquet!
tell us about the paper decor!!!! i love this!!
Yes I am also curious about the poms??? Are they tissue? If so how are they packed so tight?
I HAD to know as well. I was thinking coffee filters too. Can't wait to find out!
i just love all the white too, and the photography is amazing! Golly, i want to relive my own wedding now....::sigh::
I've seen this wedding before, but seeing it again here reminded me how great it was. I love that this couple managed to have so many great details without it being the least bit fussy. Fantastic!
OMG...did you say $13,000??? For all that?
Do they want to plan my wedding? Pretty please!?
Can someone direct me to the original post where this wedding was featured? I'd like to see more pics, if there are any.
Thanks.
Can you tell me what those white poms are called? I want to use those in my wedding!
I'm so glad you all love this wedding too! This wedding has been featured on a few blogs including Snippet & Ink, Southern Weddings and Brooklyn Bride. Here is what I know about the lantern pom's posted at Snippet & Ink: Ashley bought round paper lanterns in bulk, covered them with cupcake liners, and hung them up with baker's twine. SOO cute! :)
hey CARA- here is the direct link to our blog post to see more images:

Thank you to everyone for all the wonderful comments! Maria is right about the lanterns - we attached the cupcake liners with just regular tape (the hot glue gun took too long and i burned myself too much!) asianideas.com has really great prices for the lanterns.
Let me know if you have any more questions and i'll answer them...
about the paper decor.... everything was letterpress. the invitations, rsvp card/envelope, extra info, "wedding-box" checklist, and map were wrapped in glassine paper, tied with baker's twine and mailed in boxes with a letterpress address label. in addition, we had programs with tickets stapled to them so people would know to look forward to the smilebooth at the reception (www.smilebooth.com). there were also guest book pages on everyone's chair to fill out while they waited for the ceremony to start. the glassine bags said "thank you for coming to our wedding" and were used for the candy bar.
can you please do a tutorial about how you got your paper lanterns to look like that....
i am wanting to do something like that, but not sure how to make them!
gorgeous weekend!!!
cutest wedding party attire ever!
PS KILLER legs on the bm on the right! lucky :O)
Gorgeous wedding! So they desiged all the paper items themselves?? Wow, great job. Did you do the letterpress or send your design out?
I own a custom design letterpress company, so I did all the printing and design myself.
i saw the cupcake lanterns at anthropologie 3 weeks before the wedding and decided that i HAD to recreate them for the ceremony. there's really no way to mess it up. i folded the cupcake liner in half, taped it to the lantern, and then fluffed it out so that it was standing directly up from the lantern. then just make sure that you don't place the liners too close to each other or they will be squished. good luck!
this is simply beautiful!! elegant and plain but so detailed too!! love it... hope my wedding half as gorgeous as yours!

Nice article as for me. I'd like to read more about that matter.
