I am almost afraid to tell you just how much I love Blue Moon Events because it just might be one of my best kept secrets. Seriously. The eye candy that is contained in each of their galleries, is honestly as good as it gets. From perfect Southern style weddings to pristine beach side affairs, Calder Clark Designs is definitely my new obsession. We are so lucky in Charleston to have wedding and event design companies like Blue Moon Events. As the wedding liaison at the Seabrook Island Club (just south of Charleston), I am so excited about the fact that we're building an incredible oceanfront clubhouse and outdoor event space because I know that we'll soon be working with such talented and creative people like Calder Clark!

I speak from experience, when I say that Calder Clark is the most fabulous, talented, and dedicated wedding designer out there! Blue Moon Events worked with me for a year to create my stunning, flawless wedding that took place near DeBordieu, SC on October 4th, 2008. I was married in a gorgeous, pre-colonial church in Georgetown and the reception was at Litchfield plantation. Calder helped make all my dreams and visions become a reality. The cocktail hour on the marsh complete with a strings trio was followed by a gorgeous seated dinner under the most exquisite tent lined with hand-ruched silk. Although I had labored over every detail with her, the final scene took my breath away. She nearly killed herself making sure every chandelier hung as though it were in your home. Her vision and creativity was absolutely what made my wedding so special. The most unique thing about Calder is that she doesn't imprint her style on every wedding. She listens to your preferences and tastes and capitalizes on those. I recommend Blue Moon Events to every bride who wants the very best for their wedding day!

Blue Moon was the brains, brawn, and beauty behind our June 21st wedding. We were married in a traditional cathedral and then celebrated with family and friends at the Cotton Dock at Boone Hall Plantation. The whole day was such a dream come true... I can't thank Calder and her team enough! Their relationships with vendors in Charleston and all over the South are flawless and indispensible. It was such a pleasure to share my ideas with Calder and ask for hers. She is smart, sweet, thorough, and completely stylish.
