Katie and Mario were married in October at the Lounsbury House in Ridgefield, Connecticut.

from Katie and Mario’s wedding website …Ladies & Gentlemen, gals and lads, don your fancy garb and come witness Mario the Magician and his lovely assistant, Kathryn Elizabeth, as they perform their greatest feat yet!
What better inspiration for a fun and stylish wedding than magic!
Their wedding website is filled with LOTS of info on vintage clothing trends from different eras as well as a great list of all their wedding vendors.
Mario is a full-time magician and has published a book/kit, Magic Card Tricks, available from Barnes and Noble, but if you visit their website, you can get a signed copy! How cute are these guys!!

Thank you so much for profiling our special day! It truly was the best night of our lives, and Daria & Andy of Daria Bishop Photography were SUCH a joy to work with. They are immensely talented and captured so many wonderful moments.
I LOVE the bridesmaid dresses! I would love to know who makes them
Katie, your dress is fabulous. Where did you find such a unique gown?
Thank you!! The bridesmaid dresses are by Jim Hjelm, and my gown is a Nicole Miller. I had a fantastic wedding dress shopping experience at the Nicole Miller boutique in SoHo NYC. They had so many unique designs!
Gorgeous little shrug/bolero, where did you find it? Fabulous!
I found a lot of my accessories on etsy.com... the shrug was made by Holly Stalder (www.hollystalder.etsy.com).
wow! your wedding looks like a blast, a wonderful time!
Beautiful!! I love the theme!
I am in love with your hair piece. May I ask who the designer is?
The headpiece is the work of etsy seller Boring Sidney, and I couldn't have been happier with the design and quality of the piece. You can find her shop at www.boringsidney.etsy.com.
What a great wedding theme and it sounds like their http://www.weddingwire.com/wedding-websites.html " rel="nofollow">wedding website was a great tool, allowing them to inform their guests about all the information pertaining to their wedding.
These are some great pictures and it definitely looks like it was a magical moment indeed!
Your wedding (and whatever wonderful photographer you snagged!) really captured a timeless elegance that still embodies a unique style that anyone could appreciate! I love, love, love when bride's like you think outside of the box and work for what you envisioned before the big day! (And we know you worked hard!) All in all, the outcome was absolutely amazing, I only hope to simulate something as powerful for my wedding! Cheers to you! : )
Thank you so much!!!!
(And that wonderful photographer I snagged was Daria Bishop and her husband Andy.) www.dariabishop.com
Amazing... Such whimsy & glamor. I can imagine this affair was quite the conversation piece amongst the guests.
Incredible visual eye candy! Beautiful bride & cool wedding website. I want to do something similar for my RSVP option :) Thanks for sharing
What an incredibly cool wedding. And Daria did a fabulous job capturing it!
Congratulations!!! You both look so in love! I love the mustaches.. Fab idea! Any chance that you could pass on the details of the caricature cards! Thanks :)
Nella, thank you! I drew the caricature cards for our program covers myself, and them printed them with my handy dandy Print Gocco, a little Japanese screen-printed machine that's just fantastic.
im inspired by ur dress only, not collections.
Ooo, as I was looking through the photos I thought it looked like a very magical themed Wedding...turns out Mario is a fellow magician! Looks like you pulled off the idea superbly, and what a good photographer to capture it all so well! Congratulations!

Your wedding photographer did an exceptional job and the unique style of your wedding sets it apart and makes it one your guests will always remember. Great collection of photo's. I love the theme of this wedding.. Very fun yet quirky. I had some of a friends wedding photos enlarged on canvas with a company called CanvasPop. http://www.canvaspop.com . some of these would be awesome with a vintage filter.
Beautiful pictures. What a lovely wedding !
My girl friend saw this and just feel in love with this theme, she said this is something that she would never in a million years have ever thought of doing, and it is just amazing having a 20's style wedding, were even the guests get to take part in the day.
First of all.. I'm in the process of planning my wedding, and I've been digging and digging around on the web for something EXACTLY like this to use as a guide for the theme I want to go for. So THANK YOU!
Second of all, I have a couple of questions, some out of curiosity and some to take notes with:
1) The hanging keys, did they represent anything to you, or were they just a unique decoration idea?
2) On your invitations, did you suggest to your guests to dress up? Did you mention it at all? If so, how did you word it so they wouldn't get offended that you'd asked them to dress up?
Thank you!
desiree.
Oh, and one other question...
What was the band that played at your wedding? WHERE DID YOU FIND THEM!? Hahaha
AND (sorry, haha) What sort of music did they play the whole night? Vintage covers of new songs? Old songs? Songs with words? Did they play the whole night, or half them, half a DJ?
Thanks so much in advance, haha. You're a lifesaver. <3
