It’s my favorite magazine in the whole world. It’s the only thing that I EVER wait by the mailbox for, coffee cup in hand, knowing that the next hour is going to be heaven. It’s the reason that I love design, love all things beautiful (well one of the reasons, at least). And Domino Magazine is closing their doors. Goodbye, Domino. I love you forever and ever.
Nooooo! Are you kidding? Is this some horrible joke? It's my favorite magazine, too... I have almost every issue since they were first published, and I cherish them as my design inspiration!! NOBODY borrows my Dominos! That is so sad. Ugh. I hope their editors start work on a new project...
I join you in your sadness. When I read the article in the NYT this morning, I thought the world must be ending. Fortunately (and also embarrassing to admit), I have saved every issue of Domino since it released....I will definitely be re-reading past issues to replace this major lost in the design and decor publication world :(
Viva la Domino!!!!
Me tooo - I would get an adrenaline rush whenever I would see a new cover on the shelf. What oh what will I do for eye candy now?!? More blogs I guess!!
Domino is an awesome mag. I would love to see a posting on your favorite magazines (bridal, design, etc.)...Don't know if you've already done this.
oh no, i'm going to cry!
NOOOOOOOO!!! Domino is my FAVORITE magazine!!! This is such horrible news. I get such great inspiration from it and practically lunge for it when I see a new one at the grocery store. I'm definitely going to hold on to all the issues I've saved.
:(
and so sad that the website is disappearing too... too bad they weren't able to at least keep that!
Say it ain't so, Abby! What a terrible loss that's going to be. :o(
No way! Domino is AWESOME, so inspiring. Such a bummer...
NOOOOOOOOO! : (
This is horrible news. I went on your site this morning and this was the first thing I see. I went in the bedroom where my husband was still sound asleep and I said "Something horrible has happened!" and he sat straight up, all concerned, saying "What? Something horrible?" And I told him, and he cuddled me for awhile. So sad.
WHY???? I am seriously heartbroken. It was bad enough that Cottage Living, one of my Top 5, and the short-lived but much-loved Blueprint went to magazine heaven, but DOMINO??? This makes no sense.
but wait why do they keep sending me renewal notices then?
Ugh..I feel like i lost one of my BFF's!!! Here is the article the NYTimes published on Domino closing...

Oh, you've got to be kidding me! That's the only thing I like reading! I could just cry!
Aw, crap. That sucks.
It was the brightest day of the month at the mailbox when it would come. I'm so mad at myself for not keeping all the back issues! It is a major bummer.
this can't be true! I wait for my Domino every month and remember the very first magazine they ever made! I can't believe this is true! What has happened to the world!?
First Blueprint and now Domino? What am I going to read now?
Oh no! I love this magazine! Will they come back after the economic recession at least?!
I started a blog to save Domino! Please join me in my personal crusade to convince Conde Naste to save Domino!! Tell everyone you know - we have to stop this!!
