Real Wedding: Halli and Nick, V

More eye candy from today’s featured wedding!

belathee

Aside from the incredible style behind this wedding (which was crafted by the gorgeous bride, along with planner Kristin Banta), it’s the photography by Belathee that I am totally in love with. Each image is so simple, so uncluttered. And, yet beautiful enough to grace any wall in any home. LOVE.

The wedding was held Our Lady of the Angels Cathedral in Los Angeles (Jose Rafael Moneo is the architect). As I mentioned earlier, the reception was held at Walt Disney Concert Hall, Los Angeles (BP Hall designed by Frank Gehry) with the cocktail hour in the Blue Ribbon Garden. The lighting was done by Dyal Productions.

More details on the way!

I love the wish tree!! Any more detail on how they directed guests on what to put on the cards, I'm afraid that my guests will forget to put their names, etc on them!! Or that older guests will have no clue what is going on with the tree! Also any suggestions on what type of tree etc to use?

I love the emotion in the hand holding photo! Really, all of the photos with hands are so powerful. Well done, Belathee!

ah yes, the wish tree! i didn't get as many people to sign it as i would have liked. it was tucked in the back of the space and some people actually missed it. i have seen it used very successfully at other events when it was in a super prominent space ie right at the reception entrance.

+ put something on the table that is an additional draw- the old family photos helped greatly and proximity to the candy buffet.

+ assign someone to remind guests or make an announcement

+ save extras for family/close friends to follow up w/ at a later time.

oh- the tree was manzinita sprayed white. curly willow would work too. really..any ol twiggy branches that feel like they match your theme would work

Where did you get the hanging cards that were used with the wish tree?

    I loved it!
