Real Wedding: Clair and David, VI
Here is a last look at the FABULOUS wedding that Alexandra Kolendrianos sent us…filled with fun, unexpected details (like a Rolling Stone cover band) and a chic, edgy but sophisticated style.
This is such a perfect example of something that I preach on SMP…if you find a venue that already has a charm and sense of style about it, you can really cut down on the amount of decor that you bring into the space. The restaurant at the Parker in Palm Springs has fabulous artwork, chairs that are elegant and super chic, and a general ambiance that screams style.

Fab to see a wedding that's mostly indoors and done so well. I'm getting married in London and the day will be mostly inside and up until now I was getting serious wedding envy of all those other gorgeous outdoor weddings!
I agree with Ellie on the whole indoor thing - Abby if you have other receptions that aren't rustic barns or garden parties bring 'em on! I'm getting the feeling my indoor ballroom is gonna look boring... :/
This is a stunning wedding. Makes me want to get married all over again! I would love to know where the fur jackets came from. I'm a bridesmaid in June and it's likely to be a little chilly, but finding a suitable dress that will also be warm is almost impossible, so we are thinking about vintage fur jackets to go with the vintage 40's theme.
Another vote for more indoor weddings! After pages and pages of beautiful outdoor weddings I was starting to feel bummed about my event, planned for a private room in one of our favorite restaurants. This post made me feel better!
