It’s Monday, January 26 and time to announce the winner of the Wedding Logo contest from little Black Book vendor Betsywhite Stationery Boutique!
from Gia Graham, betsywhite stationery boutique … the winners are: Christina and Chris!
Comment #114 by Christina and Chris: Wow! I was initially drawn to #9 because the damask motif is SO trendy right now, and also #6 – don’t you just think of Baz Luhrmann’s rendition of “Romeo And Juliet”? I love it, it’s whimsical, romantic and timeless. That being said! My vote is for #3 – I find this to be the most elegant and poignant to the woodland-shabby-chic wedding. My fiance and I met as tree-hugging treeplanters 5 years ago and are going to be giving tree seedlings as favors (http://www.pineneedlefarms.com). I think this logo is great for elaborate weddings as well as the understated affair. Gorgeous!!!
More from Gia~~ We also tallied all the votes and actually decided to launch 8 of the 10 designs (there were so many popular ones, it was hard to only choose 6!). Number 9 is GORGEOUS! I Love it!
my fave is #6. it's romantic & it's got an "old-school" vibe with the heart.
Number 3 gets my vote! I love that trees have symbolisms just as flowers do. Our wedding motif is an oak tree because it represents strength and endurance. Plus, my groom loves that it isn't too "girly".
I might be biased though because I just watched the Planet Earth episode on forests. :)
#9. Its simple, elegant, not too embellished but enough of a soft feminine touch to appeal to different styles of brides.
While they are all beautiful but number 2 is my favorite, because it would match my wedding decor perfectly. I also think it would go great with a rustic wedding, could be glammed up or ethnic.
I love number 9 because of its classic elegance and modern sophistication. It could be very easily incorporated into a traditional black and white brocade wedding, yet it still has so much modern class!
Number 1 is perfect for a garden style wedding. It's simple with a little bit of elegance and cuteness :)
Jen
Number 9 has my vote. It modern and elegant and I can see it being perfect for so many different brides.
I also have a bride using a butterfly theme, and I'm sure she would love number 7. Its simply a beautiful design.
I love logo 10! I am so excited to take my fiancés last name and the classic simplicity of one letter to me symbolizes the importance of us coming together under one name, the name we will use to build our family. I would use this logo for many years to come and will probably purchase it even if I don't win ;)
Love #10...a fresh blend of stripes and dots, a theme I absolutely love and am incorporating in my wedding this fall!
I love number 10. It is so simplistic and classic. It is gorgeous yet understated. I just love it!
#6 for sure! How adorable!
#1 is perfect for a shabby chic outdoor wedding, the bed of flowers really add something to the monogram. I also love # 10 it is the perfect logo to brand a wedding from the invitations to labels on wedding favors.
You won't go wrong with either of these designs, I would use either of these for years to come branding cards, labels, and seals. They would give a unique touch reminding people of your wedding.
Number 9 is definitely my favorite. It's definitely modern but has a touch of vintage, classic flair. Kudos!
I love logo number six. It is whimsical and beautiful. The scroll and flourish design adds some drama, but when added with the heart it makes the desing so fun and light hearted. To me it is for a couple who likes elegance, but doesn't take themselves too seriously :)
I would have to say #3 - so perfect for a lovely woodsy wedding or any outdoor affair and I love the little banner with the names! #10 would be my other vote for being stylish and sweet.
I love number 3 - though if I could change one thing it would be to make it a palm tree, since we live in the south and they can symbolize peace.
9!
I love number 2. Simple, elegant and oh so pretty! (or maybe i can't see thru the J and B (our initials!.
#8
It is beautiful, elegant, timeless and not too overly feminine.
I absolutely adore #3!!! It's a logo that I have never seen before (and I have scoured many websites!!!). But it's not only for its uniqueness, but it's perfect for an outdoor wedding. It's very rustic chic. I would love to have it!
#1 is my favorite. I think the lowercase letters give it a casual feel. The addition of the flowers makes it pretty and elegant. Elegant yet casual is sort of what I am going for with my wedding so #1 would definitely be my choice. Thanks SMP!
Wow, how come no one likes number 5? I like it the best- it's cute without being overly kitsch and different enough to stand out from the "expected" monograms.
I love #4! It is traditional and elegant, but also very unique. It is also a bit different from the other gorgeous logo designs currently available at betsy white's boutique.
#10 is my favorite... simple and fresh design, with just enough flair in the monogram!
I love number 6 - it's classy, pretty, whimsical, and would make for a great tattoo.
I love #3, however for the style of our wedding I think #8 would be stunning! These are all beautiful!
i would have to go with #3. trees symbolize growth and what better logo to have for the beginning of a life together. plus it is perfect for an outdoor, rustic wedding (which is our plan) :)
It was a very hard choice, but I'm going with #3 - there is always a need for more nature-inspired designs. :)
We're planning on having our 2010 wedding at a campground and I think logo 3 is perfect for our day! I love that it's slightly unexpected, slightly rustic and absoulutely beautiful.
love the scalloped edges and font of #10 :)
My favorite is number 2! I love it's simplicity!
#9 is my favorite that incorporates the bride and groom's initials together, and #10 is my favorite that uses their new last name initial. But I can't choose between the two! Probably because I couldn't choose between those two if I were going to purchase one for my own upcoming wedding!
I'm loving #2 and #9...I would love to have a monogram for our wedding that's so chic and elegant.
My favorite is #4 because it has bold modern lines, but still a classic and soft feel. It reminds me of a romantic wrought iron gate.
I LOVE #1. It's perfect for a spring and summer wedding and can be used absolutely everywhere --- invites, STDs, menus, thank you cards, napkins, seating arrangements, the cake...
I love #9! It is so appropriate for my fiance and myself as he has a hyphenated last name and it would be so difficult (well, not difficult but so not pretty) for us to get a single letter monogram!
#9, #2 & #10 are all unique and yet simply classic. I think monograms are a trend that may fade over time; however, these designs provide personalization without the cliche of purely doing what's vogue.
Tough choice, but I definitely have to go with #9. It is very classic and timeless, but also in line with the latest wedding trends. Its simplicity is refreshing and would definitely fit with modern or traditional decor. For my wedding, I'm trying to syle it with Old Hollywood glamour and this definitely fits the bill.
Design 1 is my favorite. It would fit perfectly with our spring time farm wedding.
I absolutely love #9. The flower used on the logo is strikingly similar to the one on my gown, and could be the center of the "theme" that we've been desparately searching for. Simple, classic, and beautiful.
Oops! I meant #1. :) Sorry!
I love #4. It's classic but can still stand up to a modern design theme. #1 is a close 2nd but I think #4 you can get buy in from the groom very easily.
My vote is #3 for all the ecochic weddings out there. It is the perfect combination of symbolism (setting the foundation for new growth together) and style (it's gorgeous!) which is what logos should be all about.
oh man, this is a tough one. #2 is so nice and clean and modern, i love it. #3 is SO unique and gorgeous and would work for any southern wedding, especially ones at historic sites or plantations.
but if i had to pick one it would be #9. it's just perfect. simple. classic. elegant. and best of all reusable. i can picture it on invites, escort cards, thank you notes, and even return address labels for the future : )
Nr 1 is my favorite. It's modern, fun, and it really unites the two initials together.
Number 2!!! It looks both antique and modern... a perfect fit for my vintage Halloween wedding in 2009 ;) Plus, it's very striking... it's simple and has the most instant visual impact of all the designs. I could easily incorporate this into many details of the wedding without it becoming overwhelming.
I love #1 and #7. Either would fit beautifully into our Summer Solstice wedding. Monograms are such a gorgeous timeless stamp of your union and I cannot wait to incorporate one into my wedding stationary and future correspondence! They are all really so lovely..all the perfect elements of modern, classic and unique at the same time. Thanks!!!!!!!
Wow, I love them all! They're all so different and unique. My favorite would have to be #1. It's casual, but still effortlessly stylish. I can just imagine all the fun ways I could use it! Programs, napkins, invitation belly bands, favor boxes... It's a DIYer's dream!
My favorite is definitely #6. It's romantic, edgy and original!
Number six is absolutely my favorite. It's whimsical, firstly -- Which really is just a reflection of my personal taste and less on the design itself. Aside from that, however, it's a really balanced design. It's not too simple; it's not too busy. It uses symbolic elements to convey the idea of "love"; and, it does it in a way that's not uncomplimentary. Also, I like that something ties together the date/year of the wedding. (What better to tie it all together than a ribbon or banner!? lol. Nice touch, there.)
One last thing to add: It makes me popping in a Baz Luhrman movie into my dvd player. I need a little "Romeo + Juliet" or "Moulin Rouge" action!!
I can't decide between #4 and #9. I love the simple lettering in contrast with the ornate borders. Both simple and ornate. It also seems like it would work well on a variety of materials and in virtually any color.
#1, I love the flowers at the bottom and the modern letters!
Number 9 is so elegant, it has a bit of an antique look to it. I can imagine it now on our programs, and the goodie bags for our Candy Buffet, even adorning the front of our menus & on our framed seating chart! My fiance and I have sort of a European feeling to our wedding and this would be perfect!
I really like number 3. I could tie it in with my “Woodland Art Deco” look which has been a hard vision to get across to some. With the ceremony taking place in the plantation’s boxwood garden surrounded by some Evergreen trees, this logo would bring out the natural setting for the day’s events. My only question is that we have double names. Would it be only our first initial or how I usually sign my name “RA”?
I like #9 - simple and classic!
I love #1. It's youthful and preppy and I just love the font. simple, and straightforward but the embellishment on the bottom gives it some femininity as well! Love love love it!
My favorites are :
2
5
6
7
8
9
But my most favorite is #8! It would look fantastic in gold thermography on lilac paper. Its got such a regal feel, its almost like looking at a family crest. Love it!
Carissa
#10 is my absolute favorite, no question! It has just the write bit of simplicity, femininity, and ornateness to create logo perfection!
I love number 10, I think the significance of one initial really symbolizes the day, two people becoming one. The type of the letter is also perfect, traditional and elegant, with a bit of modernism. I think the circle also plays a big role in the logo, it brings it all together. Looking at the design you just want to smile.
I LOVE logo #3! It's unique but still captures the formality of a traditional wedding. My wedding will be held at a mountain resort so I may be a bit biased. To be fair, they are all stunning.
I love #1! It is so simple and sweet with a little retro flair in the floral design. I also like that it can accommodate a nontraditional couple (i.e. one where the woman keeps her last name, or a same-sex couple.)
I just consulted with my fiance on these beautiful logos and we both love #6. It has a great mix of elegance, whimsy and romantic flair -- just what we want to capture at our wedding.
I love, love, LOVE number 9. The lines that it creates are so whimsical and classic that it could accent any detail at any venue. My favorite part is that the logo includes both the bride's and groom's initials--I think this is a great way to represent each person, as well as show the joining of the two individuals! It's absolutely perfect!
#4. (Am I the only person who loves this one?!?!) It is simple, yet strikingly beautiful. I love how the letter in the center pops against the solid background. Beautiful designs!
I love #9
#5! I love the idea of how it looks like a fmaily crest!
I think they are all great but I particularly like #1 as it epitomizes the feel that I am aiming for in my wedding - simple, casual, sunny.
I absolutely love number 8! Very regal, and it looks very much like our two family crests blended together. It even goes wonderfully with the location and style of our wedding!
I love logo 3 - so refreshing and new!
Number 1, for certain! It's classy, it's simple, a little frou-frou but nothing a guy would object to...I want something just like it, it's perfect.
#6 for sure! There is something fun & whimsical and romantic all at the same time. This design would be great for a romantic-yet casual wedding like mine :)
I love #1!
Love Logo # 3 - the silhouette is so unique and botantical drawing always look so crisp yet romantic !
It was SO hard to choose just one favorite. There were at least three that I wanted to say were my favorites, and to be honest I loved them all. It really ended up being a tossup between #2 -- which was both simple and fancy, its elegance really in its simplicty -- and #3 -- which was really caught my eye because it reminds me of a wine label for some reason. In the end, I'd say #3 is my favorite because can fit so many different wedding themes, looks classy and has a little something "extra" to it.
I love the simple elegance of #10. Not too girly, but still romantic. One question though - if your last name is going to start with a Mc would both letters be on the monogram?
I love #9 - I almost voted for #1, but #9 seems much more unusual. Something you wouldn't be able to find elsewhere and which would really stand out from other designs. I think it could work for a wide variety of weddings as well whereas some of the other designs would be better for a certain type of wedding such as "garden" or "casual" etc but this one can really cross several genres
I LOVE number 9. I think it is the perfect combination between traditional elegance and clean modernity- which is exactly how I envision our wedding. Also, I do not plan to take my husband's last name, at least not right now, so I love that it uses the first initials and represents each of us.
Number 8 is perfect! I think it has a regal feel to it that lends sophistication and style to anything you put it on. I actually went to the site to buy it, but then DUH, realized that its not for sale yet. PLEASE MAKE #8 for sale!
I love #1!
Number 4 - I love the mix of modern and classic together.
Oh and please pick me - its my birthday :)
My favorite is #4. It's beautiful: clean and modern.
I absolutely LOVE the Logo #1. It's so modern and romantic!!
I vote for number 3 - I love nature-y themed things, and my wedding is going to have a forest theme to it. I'm going more with birch, but we're even considering bringing some Christmas tress, but with just lights (so.. not really Christmas tress - just artificial pine tress!) I also REALLY love the banner on it as well as its placement, and the font is also a really good fit!
#2 is my favorite. Classic, timeless, elegant...perfection.
I can't resist #3. The drawing, the banner, the antiquey-ness - it's unquestionably charming.
#10 is simple with and little bit of flourish :)
#3 Wins for me...and my fiance! We've been trying to decide on a monogram, he wants something that looks like it could be on the label of a wine bottle, he's so creative! So for our outdoor May wedding at the water front property, with a huge tree filled golf course behind us this design would fit our laid back, eco-friendly style perfectly! Both elegant but not too formal.
I adore #2. Simple, classy, elegant. Stunning.
they are all so diverse and beautiful! my favorite is number 7!
#10! It’s the epitome of simple elegance. I love the idea of the single letter as a subtle reminder and symbol of unity. A marriage is about two people pledging to be one and as a bride-to-be it is very exciting to think of sharing a "B" with my husband-to-be. (Plus, my friends constantly debate the order of initials on a “couple monogram”) There’s no question with this one, its one name, one life, forever.
I also think that this logo can be applied to weddings of all types - modern, vintage, elegant, extravagant. The simplicity of it allows it to be dressed up or down and it will not overshadow other beautiful details of invitations, favors, etc. but compliment the existing with that personalized touch.
I love how the date is subtly above and below the monogram of #8- great design, very classy without being too bold. I think my fave would have to be the simplistic #10- it's timeless- LOVE it!
#9...
i think it captures lots of moods- it can be kind of traditional, it can be vintage, it's ornate without being too flowery, and it's very elegant.
love love love #2. Also really like #4 and #9. - A slightly modern take on lovely classics!
I love #8, but I keep coming back to #3 - it looks like an old bookplate illustration. Lovely!
I love logo no. 3 - it's so beautiful. But I have to go with logo no. 10. I love the idea that, because it only uses the last initial, it could easily live on after the wedding as a sort of family logo.
They're all great!
#8, So REGAL and modern!! I have never seen those two styles combined before and I love it. It would be perfect for our Charleston wedding and I appreciate that it has all three initials as my fiance's name and mine combine to make: T & A !!! Don't want our guests to get the wrong idea, if you know what I mean!?!?! SO TLA works much better! So beautiful can't wait to check out the site!
3! I am planning a fall wedding myself, and I absolutely adore this subtle and gorgeous seal. It's beautiful, classy, but very unique. And it has a tree- therefore, it must be great. Love it!
Number nine is GORGEOUS!
My favorite is #1. Simple, elegant, and feminine. Perfect!!
Number 1! I was just oogling a similar design on one of Betsywhite's wedding invitation styles. I love all things simple and understated. #1 is just that and still stylish and elegant. What a beautiful statement to make throughout your wedding!
I am so in love with number 8. There is something so regal and yet timeless about it. I love vintage designs on simple modern stationary - the vintage look and the minmalist look actually mix quite well. A classy affair with a old timeless feel. I think this stunning combination is so unique and overlooked. Thank you betsywhite for bringing up this hard to find look!
#10 - a true dichotomy of styles -- formal, yet informal; whimsical, yet elegant; vintage, yet trendy -- the most versatile logo of the bunch.
#8 is beautiful. It reminds me of a family crest. My fiance is from Germany and his family still frequently uses their family crest as a decorative motif. This is so beautiful and makes me feel like when personalized, could be a crest of our own.
Love Love Love numbers 10 and 8!!
I love Number 1! I can totally see using them for labels on favors.
#1
I absolutely LOVE #9 - It fits with our wedding theme perfectly. The coming together of 2 people completely in love in an elegant yet cozy setting.
My vote goes to #3. I really like the banner and it has such lovely feeling.
My favorite is Logo 1. The only thing I would change is to add the wedding date somewhere in the design, maybe inside the circle along the top? I would put mine as 4.25.09.
My favorite would definitely be number 8!! I love the antique scrollwork and the detail in the wording. It's just so classy and elegant!!!
I love #4 because it reminds me of the iron gates of Charleston. Relaxing yet classy.
Wow! I was initially drawn to #9 because the damask motif is SO trendy right now, and also #6 - don't you just think of Baz Luhrmann's rendition of "Romeo And Juliet"? I love it, it's whimsical, romantic and timeless. That being said! My vote is for #3 - I find this to be the most elegant and poignant to the woodland-shabby-chic wedding. My fiance met as tree-hugging treeplanters 5 years ago and are going to be giving tree seedlings as favors (http://www.pineneedlefarms.com ). I think this logo is great for elaborate weddings as well as the understated affair. Gorgeous!!!
While all of these logos are absolutely beautiful, number 8 is my favorite. It's classy, it's elegant, it's timeless and it's so romantic...just like my wonderful fiance. Logo 8 is just so beautiful and leaves you wanting more (again, like my man!). I would love to create a wax seal with this gorgeous logo to put on all of our invitations! And the logo could pop up all over our wedding to help personalize our fabulous celebration even more. A wonderful design!
Number 8! Great vintage charm.
My faves are #4 and #10. Both would serve well for the wedding event on favors, programs, etc and would still be useful for years afterward as stationery monograms and on gift tags.
no. 9 is so very delicate, chic, but with just enough of a pop to be perfect. i am totally into damask right now, so i am totally in love with this logo. oh, how i adore graphic designers like these who perfect every touch!
#1 is my favourite.
Number 6 is my favorite (after much deliberation). I like the potential versatility. I think with the right color schemes it could look really modern, but with others it could be very classic and romantic. They're all amazing though!
I had a hard time choosing between #8 & #9, but I have to go with #8. It's completely traditional and elegant, but what a creative way to incorporate the wedding date! This would be especially unique in a more modern colors scheme.
I love #9. Simple and elegant.
I absolutely adore number 4. The combination of hearts and leaves joining to unite the last name is just beautiful and in a way it also reminds me of a Cinderella carriage with our love being housed in the center. I also love how it has a whimsical yet modern feel to it. It would be a perfect signature logo for our vineyard wedding and would masterfully tie a visual ribbon around our event. I feel the logo perfectly represents us as a couple, our wedding day and our future. I could even see it be used for many uses after the wedding, almost like our new marriage monogram. I relish in the idea of being able to share it with future generations to come!
#3 is handsomely designed and I love the tree motif. However, I vote for #10 because it's a classic style that is modern enough for your big day but timeless enough that it will forever look fresh.
I think they're all beautiful, but especially like number 1 - it's simple yet elegant, feminine but not too girly, modern but also rustic. Love it!
No. 6 is my favorite. It's romantic and still not to serious at the same time. I like the mix of the ornate band over the 'hand-drawn' heart. So cute.
pick a favorite?! oh man! I love them all so much. I would have to say #6 with the heart. It's so nostalgic and love-y dove-y to me. Totally fits my personality! Love, Love, Love...isn't that what a wedding is all about?
I love #1! Its perfect for an outdoor wedding, which I'm having! Its soft, yet elegant. I love the flowers.
#3 - It's very unique and with everyone trying to go 'green' with their weddings I think it'd be a hit. I also love all that a tree represents.
I have never even considered a monogram, but after seeing #3 I now HAVE to have one. It's rustic, timeless and I love it's simplicity. It certainly goes with our theme of the wedding and our life; eco, love of nature and growth.
Number 1!!! It is fresh and modern and really sweet.
I love #2. It is very classic and could be used well after the wedding is over for personal stationery & correspondence. This is a logo that also isn't too feminine so your husband won't be afraid to use it too!
Definately #3 for me. I love the tree and since I'm mary and my fiance is Michael, having both our names is great!
i loooooovveeeeee #6 ... it's got this great vaudeville meets la ink quality to it. love. but i'd more likely use #9 on my invitations as its more fitting to my wedding style.
I love number 9 so simple, stylish and romantic
I love #8. It is classic and reminds me of a family coat of arms. Timeless!
I love logo #9. I don't know how you did it, but you struck the perfect balance of modern and classic that comes to mind when I envision my wedding!
#3 is surely the best. The banner is almost tacky in an old-school tattoo kind of way while the tree adds an organic element of vintage class. The irony is to die for.
I love number 2! It's a little rustic and a little classic just like us!
My vote is for logo #9. In the spirit of "do it yourself" it is a great way to add a touch of class and fit within your bidget. I think it really stands alone,is elegant and could be used in so many ways. I would love to see this incorporated with a black & white damask throughout the decor.
I love number 10 the most but I also like number 1 and 9. I love mixing romantic elements with more modern ones!
I love number 8! It's elegant and timeless and could be appreciated by all ages. All of them are absolutely beautiful!
i vote for #10. i always love when i see details with the scalloped edging and that font is beautiful! my fiance and i share our last initial, so it would be perfect :)
I love logo #10. I think it is simple and elegant. It could easily transfer from the top of a program to the seal of invitations. I think you carry it onto the cake, cocktail napkins, or even books of matches for your going away sparklers! I love logos that easily reused later as well and I think the simple Last initial with it's carefree style does just that!
I love how crisp and modern the first one is!!
Number 1 is my favorite! It's modern and simplistic, beautiful!
No. 7 is just fabulous. It would add such a wonderful visual and thematic element to a spring or summer wedding. The others feel too ornate or too modern for my taste. This one is the perfect balance of both.
They are all so beautiful, but I would have to say number 3 is my favorite. I just love the rusticness of the tree and we are getting married in Maine so it is the theme for our whole wedding!
I love #8. It is elegant and classic but would be perfect for our beach wedding because of the small shell. I would put it on napkins and coasters and also on stickers on items in the welcome bags such as key chains.
My vote is for #1! The reason being is I like that you can just incorporate your first name initials. I love monograms and with that anything monogrammed! The thought of having a monogram I can use throughout the planning process is awesome! Given we don't share a last name - yet- leaving that initial off is perfect! After the wedding we could even design a very similiar monogram that does incorporate our new last name. But for now this one would be perfect for save the dates, thank you notes sent out, and even the return envelope on the RSVP! The flowers and simplicity of the design make it timeless! Love it!
i vote #6, it matches us perfectly.
i vote for #10 even though it wouldn't go with our wedding. its a little Martha Stewart (its a good thing!), but not too girly so my fiance would still like it!
I love the fourth one. It is really pretty and classic without being too old looking. However, it isn't going too modern either. I just really really like it.
#9 is so simple and elegant! #6 is a close second.
I LOVE No. 8! It is exactly what I've been looking for, for my own DIY projects! I hope I win, but if not, I'll be rushing to get my order in!
3!!!
It would go perfect for my Provence inspired wedding.
#4 is fantastic! It is just the right mix of my classic style with Brian's fun & laid back style. What a great monogram; I would love to use it for the wedding and personal stationary.
My vote is for number 10! Its simple and elegant which is perfect for any wedding regardless of style. Additionally, I prefer the single letter monogram style because my fiance and I have the same initials both first and last. So one letter works the best and looks best in our case. All are truelly beautiful designs!
Oh Number 9 has my vote! It's classic and I could never get tired of looking at it. I can see it used on wedding invitations and on our stationary for years to come. It looks timeless.
I love number #8 it is sophisticated, classic, traditional, stylis and vintage! I think it is absolutly amazing!!!
I love #6. The style of the logo is so romantic; it brings to mind a valentine's greeting card from centuries ago. It puts me in the mindset of a far off place, where I have all the time in the world to daydream about love and past and future romantic rendezvous.
My favorite is #10. It has a stylistic simplicity that is very sweet and timeless!
I love all of them... but since I have to choose just one, I choose #4!
I love #9!!
I love them all but since I have to choose one, I choose #4!
Number nine is fantastic! I love that it incorporates initials from both parties, and it's classic without being stuffy. In terms of branding for a couple, I think it says modern elegance!
Although it is tough for me to choose just 1 of these beautiful designs, I would have to say that my favorite is #9!! This would be perfect for my "latin flair" themed wedding. These are much more unique than a traditional monogram. I love it!
Number 3 immediately stood out to me on a personal level because the features of the design remind me of my relationship with my fiance. The tree is very reminiscent of where we met over four years ago (a picnic at the park) and really fits in with how we're planning our September wedding. The banner is beautiful and reminds me of a tattoo that my fiance has. The whole flow of the design is wonderful and I really really hope you choose this as one of your six spring designs. I will definitely be checking your site, because I am very much a DIY kind of woman and this logo would be absolutely perfect for my invitations.
It was hard to decide, however my favorite is definately #2. It is very modern and is high impact. It is simple and stylish enough to be used in many different wedding themes, with just the right amount of flare around the border to give it an elegant, feminine feel. My fiance is an architect and is very fussy about keeping the theme of our beach wedding ultra modern and minimalistic, therefore it has been sooooooooo hard for us to agree on anything! (seeing I like pretty feminine details, including motifs)
He likes this one! Yay! Well done betsywhite, my husband to be is hard to please :)
I absolutely love #6.... It has a WILD, Fun and loving feel to it. Reminds me of me and my Fiance!!!
ummm... all of them? But #6 is the most romantic.
I like logo #8. It reminds me of a family crest. Which in my opinion would be great beyond the temporary use of just your wedding stationary.
I really do love number 8! It is just fantastic!
Number 6 is my favorite. I like the contrast between the simple heart and the fancy scroll work.
oh my, I just LOVE #7. I've been designing many logos for the wedding... but this one is just perfect. It's both whimsical, but elegant, the feeling I want my wedding to have!!
I love #4! Its classic, elegant and simple. I would love a logo like that to stamp on the wedding programs, napkins and the other details that make a wedding perfect and unique.
I love #9! It would set the perfect tone for an entire wedding. It's classy, elegant, and a bit playful.
I love #9! It's simple yet stylish and classy. When using a logo on various things, its easy to read, there are no small details that could get lost or look jumbled, especially if used on smaller items. It's one you could use throughout!
It's a hard choice! In the end I tried to pick one that would fit in with the overall look of our wedding, and I think #8 fits the bill the best. I love how the date is spelled out at the top and bottom, very different from any monogram I've ever seen.
I like #9. It has a classic elegance without being too feminine.
Number 3 is positively perfect. My hubby to be and I are getting married in the park this September. The park is known for the amazing tree collection that the old money who owned the property long ago planted. We are naming our tables after the tree species found on the property as well as incorporating the tree into all other aspects of the ceremony and reception. We are being married under our favorite tree on the property and our invitations are made of engraved wood veneers!
My vote is for No. 3- I love the texture and the uniqueness!
I love number 5! It's classic with a touch of whimsy.
Number 9 is elegant, simple, classic, timeless. It is even my fiancee's favorite--and he knows his wedding logos!
I am head over heels in love with #3! The art work is absolutely gorgeous, the detail is to die for and the theme is bound to be hugely popular with so many brides planning outdoor (and green!) weddings. I would love this logo for our big day that includes an evening reception in an old barn in the country.
I love number 8. I think its a great balance between a masculine and feminine look that reflects a couple as a whole I love the scroll work with the simple letters.
I love #8. - Just beautiful!
I love #8. They are all beautiful!
I love #1 and #9! they're both really simple and elegant.
Number 6 is my absolute favorite. Love the heart and the banner design. Very chic!
What a creative and special idea! Number 10 would be the perfect fit for our classic modern wedding this summer! Plus it doesn't hurt that my new name begins with an "E" so it's easy to visualize!
I absolutely adore #1. It would be perfect for my spring wedding:) The simple flower and dots introduce the perfect aire for a backyard or garden reception. LOVE IT!
I love #1. So CHIC!!! It is modern, clean, fresh and yet so cute and elegant.
I love #9! I'm always a fan of the damask-style designs. I also like #1!
I love #9! It has a different and unique shape that I love. It would be great for any season and has a great classic feel to it that would last forever. It would never go out of style and is simply elegant!!
I vote 2 because it's simple and classic. There's something about it that makes it unique and yet usable. Plus, it's definitely one that you could use outside the wedding :)
I love #1. It is simple and has a nice clean look.
My favorite is #10. It's whimsical, yet old fashioned and reminds me of a delicate Moravian ginger cookie!
While all are lovely, number 2 is my favorite. It is a sophisicated enough for a formal event yet could be incorporated into a casual laid back wedding. It is a design that I would use for my own wedding because I could see having it on stationary thirty years from now and being just as beautiful and appropriate.
#8! Three words: timeless, majestic and fit for royalty! Exactly what I want my wedding to be! Pick me pick me!
My favorite is number 3, although I don't think it would go with my little sister's wedding (which I'm helping to plan right now). For her wedding I would choose something a little more simple like #2.
my fave is #5. I love how it incorporates the couples' last name in a family-crest kind of way. A perfect statement of us, as a couple, and of a new family unit.
These are all GORGEOUS! Thanks for showing these pretty logos from Betsywhite Stationery Boutique. No. 8 is hands-down my favorite. I like that it has the wedding date and single, elegant monogram. The design screams Art Deco with the font and shell, but it’s oh-so-modern at the same time and that’s what I love. They belong at an elegant affair where the ladies and gentlemen will appreciate the beauty and complexity that lurk in the details.
Love numbers 3 and 5! Stunning!!
Gorgeous! I am voting for #1. It really echoes the trends of flowers right now.
They're all great, but I love the simplicity and timelessness, as well as funk, of #3! I especially like the use of something growing to symbolize... something long-lasting that must grow over time.
Although I love them all I would choose #8! It's a twist of modern and traditional.
I LOVE love love #2 because of the pure simplicity and elegance of it!
#6!!! How perfect! It would fit in so nicely with our Spanish-mission-style theme! I love it!
I think #2 is fabulous! It's sophiticated, classic, but has just enough flair to make it interesting.
I love #1. It's modern yet super classy. My fiance is a graphic designer by profession so the last thing he wants to do after work is to do more design work... even if it is for our big day. Talk about being self critical, he'd never "finish" putting anything together. I think #1 would fit us to a Tee.
This is the PERFECT final touch to our Santa Monica Wedding...our theme is 'chic' and I think #2 would look amazing with our decor!! I would use this on everything! Just lovely!
#6!!!!! Finally-a heart logo that I love! Believe me, I've been searching EVERYWHERE. #6 #6! I cannot tell you how adorable, gorgeous, romantic and unique #6 is, I haven't seen anything like it. #4 is a VERY close second. These are beautiful!
oops-#3 is a very close second. I love the use of the tree and banner. simply gorgeous.
#8 FOR SURE!! I absolutely love it! It has substance in the most romantic way!!
3, 4, 7, 9 are my favorites of the bunch, but 9 just made me go WOW!
Design logo #9 is my favorite, and the reason is because of its versatility. It is classy & elegant looking enough to be used for an upscale wedding, but also relaxed & simple enough to be used for a casual wedding.
If someone would want to add a touch of elegant flair, it is a great option. It is not overbearing, just perfect pleasant. =)
I love #3 - we're getting married in London just off Kensington Gardens, and then the reception will be next to St James' Park, so the lovely tree is a very appropriate indication of what people will be seeing most of the day!
Number 9
No. 9 is my fav! What a great gift idea!
My absolute favorite is number four! I love the mix of the modern font of the letter against the elegant and classical swirls. This monogram is exactly the look and feel that I would like for my wedding, modern and contemporary style mixed in with some classical elements.
I vote for #3
it is STUNNNNING!
amazing work thanks
for pointing it out.

#9. It's classic and simple, but really makes a statment!
I love #9! It's beautiful, a bit traditional, but also a bit modern. I appreciate the emphasis on just first initials as changing my last name is something I am still grappling with so in light of that decision yet to be made, I'm hesitant to use a logo or monogram featuring my fiancé's last initial.
Number nine is my favourite.
Number 10 is my favorite! It's elegant, traditional, but not too stuffy. I love it!
If I were voting on behalf of my brides, I would vote for number 9. It can fit a wide range of brides' style and it is very elegant. For originality (and if i were choosing for myself!) I'd vote for number 3. I like things a little more out of the box. I think it is so original.
I almost said number 8 b.c. I love the classic style - but 10 is my big winner! This would be a logo you could use for years and years that is traditional and whimsical, but classic and not to wedding-ey.
Oh how I adore #6...so romantic and so pretty! I love the idea of having a "wedding logo" to brand all your material and make all your pieces flow!
As soon as I saw #3, I knew it embodied exactly what my fiance and I would want in a monogram. It's natural and rustic (which perfectly matches our wedding style), and symbolizes the unity of two people built on a strong foundation. Not to mention it immediately made me think of a wine bottle...which is perfect since our reception is in a wine cave in Napa Valley! I LOVE IT!
I NEED # 9 for my wedding! I love, love, love it. I love how it is romantic and modern at the same time and that it incorporates the bride and grooms names.
My favourite is #6 - I've always loved the look of a scroll on invitations. It makes everything seem so sophisticated and formal. And the heart adds something else to the monogram - a cool vibe - not too stuffy!!! Great work!!!
It's a tough call between #3 and #9...... Our venue is very tree-ish, as our the invites, so I think the simplicity of #9 would suit us for cocktail napkins and thank you notes, and various other details. Darling!
My favorites are number 8 and number 6. They both convey a royal yet modern tone and really, how many other chances do modern brides have to feel like a princess than on her wedding day?
#4 (The "B" Logo) is the epitome of me- and I should know I have searched high and low. Great Job Betsy you are very talented to capture me without ever meeting me! Tootles :)
My six favorites are numbers:
9
5
8
2
3
10
Out of those six, number 9 is definitely my #1 choice! It is beautiful-- truly elegant and would be a great monogram to use for the wedding invitations and continue to use on stationary when we are married!
Number 1-because we don't take ourselves to seriously.
LOVE #1. Simple, classy, and you can put it on anything.
I like number 1
I like the simple text with the playful whimsy of the flowers. It seems young and confident.
My favorite it # 6. With its mix of whimsy and romance, it is a refreshing take on the classic symbol of love.
My favorite is number 9. It has almost a damask design, so always in style. Mixed with the very contemporary clean font for the initials. It makes it feel new and different.
I love #1 b/c of it's fresh, crisp, modern look.
I adore number 9! It is beautiful and elegant!
I love the first one. It is a great blend of modern and whimsy! Perfect for the look we (ok I...LOL) am trying to achieve!
I love number 9. It is simple and elegant and it reflects two initials rather than one so both parties get individuality in the logo!
#8 is my absolute favorite. I think it's such a great combination of masculine and feminine qualities... which means my fiance would not be embarrassed to see it time and time again. I also love that it has the date, which you can't see until you look a little closer at the details. The date increases its use for me because if I used it on an aisle runner, I have heard you can then frame it and put it on your wall somewhere which is really cool. :)
I am torn, but I think #9 is my favorite. I like the classy but modern look of it, plus it just has a romantic feel without being overly cheesy. I also really like #1 since it is sweet and modern looking without being overly floral or overdone. It would be so cute for a spring wedding I think.
Toss up between 3 and 8. Oh wait, I really like 1 too...How can you vote for just one?
Oooh! Oooh! Number 3! I love that its classic and still modern. Oh, and 8. I like 8 too. Aw, hell. I love them all. But 3. Yes, 3 is my favorite.
My favorite is #9. It's simple but classic, and it's something that can be used after the wedding. Designing the wedding is essentially designing a "brand" for the couple. I think this logotype could be used as the couples' brand identity far into the future.
#1. It is a fresh take with a little flair on a basic wedding logo design I have seen dozens of times...
My choice is number 6 for several reasons. First off, a number of women (myself included) do not intend to take their husband's last name. Number 6 is a good choice regardless of whether a name change is imminent. Second, I think that if you're going to reference the date, then it makes more sense to use the whole date (day, month and year). Third, I like the use of the two first names. I think it gives the logo a more personal touch. And finally, I like number 6 because I think it's a logo that can be used by the couple for years to come, not just on their wedding day.
It was tough choosing between number 8 and number 9! In the end, number 9 is definitely my favorite, though. Its classic and simple... something that would be a perfect fit for a big, elegant affair or a small gathering. Plus, it would look great on everything from invitations to cocktail napkins!
My fav's are 5, 6, 8.
I love the regal feel of # 5. It makes you feel like you were a royal couple getting married in an old castle straight out of a fairy tale. Plus, it goes great with my venue since I have swords and shields and a castle like feel as well as my incorporating of crowns and the regal feeling. I love #6 because it reminds me of a temporary tatoo this would be great for a carnival type themed wedding. I love # 8 because it is classic and can transition to many types of weddings.
i'm stuck between two! i love number 1 for it's sweet simplicity and then i'm totally attracted to the rock and roll nature of number 6!!!
I would choose #9. It is so classic, simple, yet a little modern and different from what I've seen. It's easy on the eye, 'feels' relaxed, which is perfect for my seaside wedding, and is perfect to put on invites, napkins, programs... you name it!
It's a tough choice, but #2 is my favorite. I'm drawn to the graphic elements of some of the others, but ultimately I have to choose a design with the classic couple's monogram. The design is an elegant yet modern way to symbolize the joining of bride and groom, and it would translate so well on multiple elements (I can see a banner, on cocktail napkins, menus, invites, the program...yeah, pretty much everywhere!).
I like #3 because its classic and yet completely fresh and different.
I LOVE both #6 and #9! I'm keeping my own name, so it's extra nice to see options that feature only the bride and groom's first names or first initials. #9 is clean and classic but a little edgy, and #6 has a super retro rockin' feel. Love them both!!
i love #8, its sylish and romantic. I love that it allows you to have the 3 letter characters, so you could incorporate both bride and groom first initial. Its fantastic.
I love #10. Simple but so stylish!
#3. It's classy, it's detailed, it's elegant and intelligent, it would make my fiance feel more established in his mandhood, and it would make me feel like I had somehow married artsy and vintage.
#1. it's simple and fresh. Plus it only uses the initials of the first names of the couple which is great in these times when a lot of brides aren't changing their last name. like me!
I love #1. The combination of casual flowers and simple font coordinates precisely with our wedding!
I absolutely LOVE #3 and #8!! They are both so elegant and unique. They both contain vintage and modern elements- i just love that combination! I can't stop thinking of all the different ways I could incorporate one of those logos into our wedding!! We want to have a lot of DIY and personal touches throughout the event... one those logos would be the perfect signature touch to any wedding!
My favorite is 8 I would love it with a bee on top instead of a shell. It's very sophisticated and so pretty!
Three is definitely my favorite! Trees symbolize life and strength and pure beauty to me...just as a marraige should be. Especially the tall beauty you have portrayed on the mongram. UNFORTUNATELY, though, I couldn't get away with it. My name is Betsy and I am marry Josh, and it may be crass - but I just can't have B J on all of my things. It just feels wrong. So, if I were picking one for myself, I would go with eight. The design is very regal and classic and I love that the date is included, to show respect to the day it all began!
They are all oustanding, although 9 would have to be my favorite! The design is spectacular and unsual. It has a simple elegance!
I love #3. Our outdoor wedding site is surrounded with trees...so this motif would tie in perfectly. The banner at the bottom adds a bit of whimsy too!
I love number 1. But then, it's very us.
#2 for sure-- it's modern, simple, and stylish. But they're all so gorgeous!
My favorite is #9 - I love the symmetry! It has the right amount of embellishment and is appropriate for several types of weddings - esp. the country club chic/garden wedding my fiance and I are planning!
Man that's tough! I love them all and really had a difficult time choosing from #1 and #6. Ultimately I decided I'm voting on #6 because it just has a vintage romantic feel to it. I like the intricate and elegant design with a touch of couture. Final vote.....#6!
I absolutely love number 9! I think it looks classy and vintage...and I really like the swirly design. I'm hoping to incorporate lace in my wedding and invitations, and I think this would look really pretty with that as well.
Wow! I think I've been staring at these designs for a while and it's been hard to make up my mind! I'm going to go with #9 because our initials are both J&J and I think it would look classic yet simple with a "mirrored" effect.
I love #9. Its the same damask-y look we are using in our upcoming wedding. I think this one could be used with almost any look or theme, though. We are incorporating it into a vintage feel. They are all really pretty though!
I think #9 is fantastic!
#8 Speaks nothing but pure class!
#3 is amazing and unique! It gets my vote.
I don't know if I'm more overwhelmed by how many people don't have to work (so kidding!) or the coolness of the designs. Me + man + Malabar Farm = 3!
absolutely #10. it's so chic and classic and perfect.
I simply adore # 1. It is simple yet lovely, and I think its awesome that it uses both first initials, as opposed to the husband's last initial. As a (future) bride that plans to keep her last name, its important to have options available that don't focus on a shared last.
Love it.
I Love, love, love number 8. It is so old world with a twist.
Just great if you sre doing a vintage chic wedding like I am.
I have been looking to do add touches of mine and my fiancee's
monogram to the wedding and this is perfect!
I really love both 7 and 9. 7 is so simple and light - it's elegant without trying to be! I like 9 slightly more - it has such a gorgeous border, somewhat damask inspired! I also love the focus on the two initials - it draws your eye right in!
I really love both 7 and 9. 7 is so elegant, whispy, and tasteful with little embelishment! 9 is damask-inspired, which I love, and really focuses on the initials - it draws your eye right in. They are both stunning!
I love number six because it seems that it would be appropriate for both a scarlet red affair or a quirky couple with an offbeat style.
#10! This logo is my favorite one because it is simple yet, leaves room for the imagination! The logo would be able to amtch with anything, or any design.
I loooooove number 3!!! When I look at it a feel peaceful like I have to take in a big brethe and relax. I lam suer earthy and love the outdoor and we are getting married outside under an oak tree. I love 3 simply because of how it makes me feel looking at it!
Number 9 is my favorite! It is a classic and elegant design, which would work well with many wedding styles.
#1 it is timeless, and would suit anyone/any style.... especially mine :O) i love it.
#9: simply beautiful!
Number 1 is so.... innocent and sweet. The lower case letters are so romantic and e.e. cummings, and the flowers are so simple and mod. This is what the inside of my head looks like! :)
All of the monograms have a certain feel to them but number 10 is my favorite! I love that it has a simple elegance feel to it. I am getting married next year and our theme is rustic elegance and this monogram would be perfect to include on all elements of our wedding!
My next favorites are:
2
1
9
4
8
Number 8 is perfect for us. It is elegant, gives the appearance of a crest that has been in a family for generations. The scallop/seashell near the top is also a symbol that appears on my family crest in the same area. Some of the outside scrollwork surrounding the initials are reminiscent of my fiance's family crest also.
My favorite is #8. It would be perfect for a formal wedding invitation. Because it emphasizes the first letter of the last name I also think it best signifies the union and the tradition of accepting your husbands last name. I am so ready to be a Mrs!! Of course, this is if one should take your new husbands last name.
My fiancee and I love #'s 4 & 10! We love tradition and we especially like the idea of being able to use our special initial "H" for the rest of our lives...from our "thank you" cards we will be writting after the wedding to our yearly Christmas cards!
Number 2 is my favorite. Simple but still has the last name bold to really emphasize the union, perfect.
I love 2 and 9 since those are the ones that I can imagine being able to use anywhere and in many different styles of homes...I think both of them can grow with us.
I love # 5 , 6, and 8!!! they are fabulous! they scream: glam, glamorous, glamorlicious!! Love it!!!! perfect for DIY brides for invitations, customized napkins, favor boxes, save the dates, and lots more!elegantly and tastefully done showcasing grace in style!
#3 perfectly encapsulates the feel of an outdoor wedding, and of a new beginning. It is modern simplicity mixed with a splash of elegance. I love it!
I really like #10. It's nice and simple and very easy to read. I also think #10 will look nice in a variety of different colors for use on coasters, napkins, programs, etc :)
Number 9 is simple, classical elegance that would fit any traditional wedding in a wide range of formality! I'm totally in love with this!
I love number 4! I like that its geometric but still feels organic. The woven concept makes me think of creating one life from two. Love it.
Number 10! It is a little feminine but not too much..... simple and elegant. i {heart} # 10!!
It was a real toss up between No 1 and No 9 - and they are both very different. 1 is modern and simple but I absolutely LOVE no 9. It's sophisticated and reminds me of an architectural detail you'd find in an old building.
My vote: No. 9
No. 9 is perfect! It symbolizes the union of both. It's exudes romance, elegance, classic and vintage. I love it!
I vote for #10 - beautiful!
All of them are beautiful, but I love #8! The mix of fonts is perfect and the scroll design gives it a vintage feel.
#3 would be PERFECT for our wedding theme. It is in Beaver Creek, Colorado and the tree logo goes so well with everything
They are all pretty nice, but the standouts for me are 2, 9 qnd 10 because they would be very easy to use for the wedding stationary and also for future family stationary.
Number 10 is my favrotie! It goes perfect with our theme, which is simple, vintage, and preppy! It would be perfect!
I think #10 is wonderful! Its simple and fun- with a contemporary twist!
I love number 6! It is romantic but reminds me of old-school style tattoos so I think my fiance could subscribe to it!
I love #6! I think it kind of reminds me of a tattoo but in a classier way :) I also love that it has full names and wedding date incorporated...gorgeous!
I love #8! It's so elegant, I love all the details in the logo. I like how all the initials and the date is incorporated in the logo.
My vote goes to #2!! It very simple and elegant.
Number 10 is my favorite! I think that it's the most versatile--its appropriate for any type of wedding--casual, elegant, simple, over the top, and everything in between! I also think it has longevity--its classic and simple--and it can be used on anything and for purposes other than a wedding. Finally, I love all the different elements to it--the script writing, the scallopeed edge and the horizantal lines in the lettering.
#8 Gets my vote!!!
I'm leaning towards 3... our wedding is on the coast so the tree is well suited.
Though it was hard to chose JUST one, I chose number nine because its classic-looking, pretty and simple. It would perfectly fit almost anyones wedding that was formal OR informal, classy or fresh! It could also be in virtually any color and still keep the look you're going for.
I LOVE #8!!! When I saw the list of logos, I was immediately drawn to #8. It is very ornate, but elegant. It is just what I have been looking for my fall wedding. I can just imagine how exquisite it would be in gold on the bellyband of my invitations.
LOVE #5! I want it for mine!!!
Number 5 really caught my eye. It's a modern "coat of arms" (that slightly resembles my own family's Scottish one) that you can use not only on everything for your wedding, but add to the initials as your family grows. That would make a gorgeous embroidery on the inside of your dress, on a ring pillow, etc. and become a family heirloom that you can treasure for years to come!
Number 8 is my favorite. It has a classic yet modern appeal. Well done!
I love #4 as it is so crisp and modern. #8 is so elegant and would be perfect for the more formal wedding. You guys have designed logos to suit every wedding style! Congrats.
I love design 7! Elegant, tasteful, and whimsical, perfect for a more casual, earthy, and elegant garden wedding. I love that there can be two initials, so both of us can still maintain our independence on our wedding monogram. Thanks!!!
I love number 8!!! #9 was my second favorite, but I like how #8 includes a date! Anyone would be so lucky to use #8 (or any!!) at their wedding! Thanks for sharing and including all of us in this choice!
#9 has got my vote! Simple, classic, and elegant! Beautifully understated!
I've got to pick #6! Quite lovely!
I think #7 is my favorite -- light and airy and summery!
I would have to vote for number 9.
It's a very simple design yet the details of it
is very delicate making it more of an romantic than simple.
Wow; I've been hunting for a monogram to use at my wedding for months and now I've found ten!! Number 8 is my favourite as it captures the old school romance of the monogram whilst being easily transferable to any wedding style. I love the added feature of the wedding date- so fab!
I would love to incorporate number 10 into our fall wedding. Its classic style with a modern twist definitely suits us. I am also partial to the one letter monogram. My first name is Elizabeth, which is what my family calls me, but many friends know me as Liz. My future husband also calls me Liz. Since he and I happen to have the same last name initial, the single letter solves the "E vs. L" debate. Plus, the symbolism of one letter representing our shared future together is really special.
Oh yippieee! I can honestly say I'm one of those people that have never won anything...thank you so much SMP and Betsywhite! I'm honestly over the moon - such a gorgeous logo that will now read "Christina & Chris" - yippiee!!! xoxoxo C&C
Hi, I am from Brazil! I love your blog.
I prefer the number 1! For sure.
Carol
stellar journal you've sit on
Lovely logos! We also have wedding logos at www.eventlogohouse.com!
Just to let you know your site looks really weird in Safari on my laptop with Ubuntu .
Number 1 is perfect design ...
