Hi Cheryl, I’m glad you noticed the deep impressions on my work. That’s something I am a huge stickler about when it comes to letterpress! When I first started in the world of letterpress design, I didn’t settle for shallow sloppy impressions. I pushed and pushed my printers to achieve the deepest impression possible on the paper. My philosophy – always strive for the best results. If you desire it, go get it. But in all honesty, that’s something to keep an eye out for when shopping for invitations. If you want letterpress for your wedding invitations, make sure you see the quality first. If the impression is shallow, or not crisp, it’s probably not worth the additional expense you pay for letterpress printing. It truly is a craft in it’s own. Not many printers out there can achieve the expert craftsmanship you speak about. So I encourage you all to develop that keen eye and know what to look for. Always, Lisa “Ceci” Hoffman
