A bit more from Sarah, the gorgeous bride from today’s featured wedding…

Children made up our wedding party; all kids I have nannied for; two from NYC while I was a student at Parsons and the other two from the Cape, whom Reid had taught tennis to as well. I made the girl’s dresses using styles from my children’s clothing line in silk the color of sea glass. I added bolero jackets in with beading the like the inside of seashells to dress them up a bit. Noah, our ring bearer, wore seersucker pants from Crew Cuts and a boy’s linen guayabera from My Cuban Store. While we were all getting ready, he spotted a boater hat of my father’s and it was the perfect addition. I got ready with my family and the kids – even doing my mom’s hair and my own.
More to come!
That is such a beautiful wedding!
I can't believe that's a real wedding! The photo's make it look as though it is something out of a catalogue. Do you know who did the photography?
I hate to beg, but can we please see more photos. Utterly utterly gorgeous!
It's Orchard Cove Photography...Amanda is AMAZING.

And, more pics are on the way!
What a gorgeous wedding! I'm with Natalie, I would love to see more :)
My fiance and I are asking our groomsmen to wear guayaberas (we met in Cuba). Its so cool to see that someone else encoporated the style into their wedding too!
I LOVE the color scheme, and the shot with the little dresses by the wedding is dress is absolutely adorable :)
Really really georgeous images - I'm such a fan of natural light and these are really inspiring.
I had a little comment on wedding cupcakes and how I've noticed at weddings how a stack of cupcakes can frequently mesmerise children. Without sounding like an advert for my own blog there is an image on there of a little brides maid with eyes a wide as saucers and jaw on the ground looking up longingly at the cupcakes. Just thought you might enjoy that one (link above) ;-)
All the best, really love your fascinating blog.
Thanks, Ian.
Thank you all so much for the really nice comments. Sarah & Reid really pulled off a beautiful and stylish wedding and I'm happy to see how people have responded so favorably. A huge thank you to Abby for the feature!
There are more photos on my blog in the month of September:

Enjoy !
I think this is the most "presonal" wedding I have ever seen and I have seen a lot. So nicely done, so loving in feeling.
I meant "personal" of course. Haven't had my coffee yet today!
Oh, please share who made the starfish and shells (white chocolate?) on top of the cupcakes. They are precious. Thank you!
Thanks to everyone for such kind comments about our special day!
Thanks especially to Amanda, photographer extraordinaire....
The white chocolate starfish and shells that topped the cupcakes were homemade! You can purchase the molds at most A.C.Moore/ Michaels (or online, search for chocolate molds...). These places also sell the chocolate "discs"- just melt and pour, pop and top!
Super easy and super cheap!
Who made the thing the rings are on and what exactly it is?? I love it!!
The ring bearer's basket was a dish-shaped Nantucket Basket made by my mom. Inside was a hand knitted pillow (by my sister) that I stuffed and strung a ribbon through to tie the rings on.
My mom makes and sells Nantucket baskets (the flower girl's baskets were also made by her), so if you are interested, you can email me and I'll put you in touch!
Thanks so much for your kind comments...
