Here are some quick tips…first and foremost, plan your menu based on foods you love. After all, your wedding is a reflection of who you are as a couple and your guests will delight in getting to know you through all of your little details. If you are true foodies, go for something really unique and interesting. If you are a casual couple, think about a fun, whimsical spread like this…

In terms of presentation, simplicity is king. Whether you are working with a large buffet spread, a seated dinner or heavy appetizers, stick with clean, simple displays. You can’t go wrong with classic dishes presented artfully on perfect white plates…

And finally, when it comes to the last course (and some would argue the best course), dessert is a fun way to bring a little bit of personality to your style. You definitely don’t have to stick with a standard wedding cake. If you don’t like wedding cake, skip it! If you LOVE dessert, like we do, offer your guests some fun alternatives along with a wedding cake. The options are endless!

Yummy.
What would the tray be called that the fries are in the wooden one or even the plastic one. Where can i get those?
They're the best presented burgers and chips I've seen!
And if you're feeling quilty after all the junk food there is cherries and raspburies for desert - yum yum :-)

I would try sur la table for something like that:)
Does anyone know where to get this polka dot cones? I love them and I need to get them!! been searching and searching.. can't seem to find them.
Nancy -- why don't you try to make them yourself with some double stick tape and cute polka-dot paper?
It'd be easy!
The first picture of the mojitos is one I did for a wedding in Stonington CT this past August. The couple could not have been more gracious and really wanted the focus to be on their guests. What better way to greet them on a hot summer day than with a tall, cool cocktail? We passed regular and mango mojitos, and they were quite the hit!
mmm..wish could have all that at my wedding
