Today we are featuring an absolutely lovely, completely charming wedding by Ooh Events out of Charleston, SC. The venue, Boone Hall, is one of the oldest working, living plantations and the grounds were inspiration behind two of my all time favorite movies…Gone with the Wind and (ahem) The Notebook. So of course, I am in love.

the beautiful photographs were taken by Heather Forsythe
We have so much more from this wedding on it’s way! Check back in a bit to see more pics and hear details from the planner behind it all.
My husband and I visited Boone last April while staying with some friends in Mt. Pleasant, SC. It is so beautiful! I can only imagine what it was like to get married there! The entry drive is unbelieveable... reminded me of Forrest Gump! so beautiful! :)
Beautiful! I just love the look of lanterns at weddings!
I LOVE her bridesmaid dresses - where are they from?!?!
I was wondering the same thing about the bridesmaid dresses! They look just like the Melissa Sweet/ Priscilla of Boston style # PB214, which is one of the front runners I am deciding between this very moment! But the ones in this wedding look patterned/textured? Either way, I think they're adorable and would love to know where they're from. What a wonderfully charming wedding!
Yes, those are the correct dresses. They are textured in an antique style (that is what I really liked about them). We got them from Bella Bridesmaid. My girls seem to really like them too, although they are all so kind they would have worn anything I asked. Congrats!
