Today’s featured wedding is so ridiculously gorgeous, it’s hard to think of the appropriate introduction. First of all, it was shot by one of my all time favorite photographers, Tanja Lippert (you remember THIS wedding that Tanja photographed a while back). Secondly, the bride and her dress are…well, gorgeous. And lastly, the details are perfection. Total perfection.
So, without further ado, here is the first look at Lisa and Benjamin’s September wedding…

Here are some fun details from the gorgeous bride, Lisa…
After proposing to me on Santorini, Benjamin and I came back to San Francisco and immediately started looking for a winery location. We knew we wanted this because he is French and it was a nod to his heritage. Also, my top priority for the day was location, photographer and dress. I’ve been a graphic designer for over 15 years now, so having all the design elements just right were ultra important.
Stay tuned to see the gorgeous design elements that Lisa crafted!
Love the shoes!
Does anyone know what the blackish flowers in the bouquet are called?
I love the shoes too! Does anyone know where they came from, or where to get some similar??? I think the blackish flowers are cosmos? (chocolate cosmos)...
Hi, this is the bride and I just wanted to tell you that the flowers were indeed chocolate cosmos. As for the shoes, that's one thing I didn't spend a lot of money on!! haha I searched and searched, but everything I was finding was way too high. Since I don't wear heels that often I didn't want to spend a mini fortune on some Manolo's or something like that. So instead, after seeing some really cool colored shoes on SMP, I just dyed a pair that I found at David's Bridal Galleria. They were cost effective and VERY comfortable, even though they were heels.
So my tip for weddings is that you don't have to break the bank on every item to make your wedding stunning. Spend your money on a FABULOUS photographer, a beautiful venue and get the dress you want!! With these three things everything else just falls in place.
[...] with lots more to come. Her wedding was also just featured on one of my favorite wedding blogs, Style Me Pretty. There’s 4 posts, so be sure to check them all [...]
Hi, this is Shari Bare. I'm the blond in the last photo hugging Lisa. I second everything she said. Especially the hire a great photographer part! I may be biased because I am a wedding photographer, but it truly is the only thing you'll have to remember your wedding forever. Besides your groom, of course :)
I'm getting married in 9 months and Lisa is designing just as stunning a wedding for me too. I hope it will be on here to share. With her design sense, I'm sure it will be! In the meantime, I'll be posting some decor and invitation suite teasers on my wedding planning blog Insider Bride (http://insiderbride.wordpress.com/ ).
