Thank you so much to Jenne Hohn for sending us pictures from today’s featured wedding! It’s that splash of warmth and summertime that we SO needed!

A few more last tidbits from Jenne…

As the evening twilight turned into darkness, dancing candlelight and twinkling lights added an element of romance and enchantment.  During the cake cutting, Erin surprised Seth with apple pies from his aunt’s special recipe.  The cakes and pies were surrounded by vintage photos of both families.  Chocolate and port were served around a fire pit for guests taking a break from the dance floor.

To add an element of fun, Erin requested school buses to transport the guests back to the hotel.  Groups of guests boarded the buses gleefully at night’s end.  The buses offered a final glimpse of the couple’s clever personality and heaps of laughter to the already joy-filled day – a perfect way to end the magnificent weekend.

This wedding is absolutely gorgeous! We are getting married at a winery in August, and the details here have been more than inspiring. On another note, those shoes are amazing! I have been searching for a wedge shoe with my dress, and haven't been able to find anything yet. Is there any information available on them? Thanks!

    Google Blue Tux Maya

  13. Danielle says:

Can anyone tell me where the suits are from?

  14. Erin says:

The shoes were from shopbluetux.com I didn't find them to be tremendously comfortable, and I switched into my mother's ballet slippers for dancing (that she'd worn at her wedding!).

The suits! The suits were very difficult as we knew what color we wanted, but we couldn't find any place to rent them! We did not want to pass this expense to our groomsmen, but we also would rather rent than buy 4 suits! In the end, we found them at FriarTux (a rental chain) in San Diego. Apparently all the colors aren't available at all stores - but in San Diego where beach weddings are popular, so are these light-colored suits. So we rented them in San Diego and a very, very kind friend hauled them on a plane to and from Sonoma for us!

Thanks for the kind complements on the wedding :)
