Those shoes are gorgeous! I love the bird theme and especially the family traditions. I especially like the idea of releasing the balloons , it just sounds romantic and playful. Thanks for sharing this beautiful wedding!

I’m sure others have asked- but now that you are finished with it would you be interested in selling your veil?! I am having my wedding at a place called Willow Pond and will be married under a gigantic willow tree with barn reception to follow and it would be so perfect!

As Adrienne’s uncle, I wondered about an October wedding and one in Vermont as I came from California to attend but, this was the most beautiful wedding I have ever attended. My sister and mom worked hard to make this a very special day for Adrienne and it certainly paid off! The location, the setting, the bells, the barn, the candy bar, the reception, everything perfectly beautiful. As guests left the reception, they were given a Plant a Tree kit containing seed, soil and little pot, a very unique and green way to remember this special event!

Good luck! Oh and one of the biggest reasons we picked the Round Barn was FOR the food. It was unbelievable. They have a private catering company and will make pretty much anything you can dream of eating.

Gorgeous wedding! I am hoping to have a barn reception in VT in late 09. Besides the Round Barn, does anyone here know of any other barns available for weddings in VT? And Adrienne, how was the food at Round Barn?

I was so excited to see this wedding! I am originally from VT and will be getting married at the Round Barn on June 20th. The details of this wedding are absolutely beautiful and I can only hope that ours comes out just as well.

My sister’s husband is from Germany, and they participated in the same traditions (sawing the log, cutting out the heart) at their wedding. I loved it, and thought it added that special touch to the day!

This wedding is beautiful! I’m having a barn reception in Vermont on June 6th. Irene is making my cake too! The Secret Garden is my favorite theme and I love the look of the trees inside the barn. (I’ve been wanting to do that but have never seen a picture of it.) The work that Adrienne’s mom did is incredible. I would also like to know where the bags came from and the little mushrooms. They are just great little details!

To Stephanie- my veil was made by Malis Henderson (http://www.mhtiara.com/). I actually met him in person randomly one day at the bridal shop where I purchased my dress and he was having a trunk show. I took a look at his veils and was in love. They are so unique and so beautiful. He was really nice and actually had me show him my dress and 3 months later I had a veil that was the perfect accent.

Kate- my shoes are actually Stuart Weitzman. Go check them out!
