If you’ve been drooling over today’s featured wedding, like I’ve been, you’ll love this next set of photos. The bride, Nicole, was so completely hands-on…bringing their own personal touches to literally every single element. This wedding is perfection.

From the bride…
Our ceremony was perfect. I walked down the aisle to our song – God Only Knows by The Beach Boys – with my step dad and dad. Our officiant was a friend and mentor whom we know through the university department in which we met. It was amazing to have someone who we respect and admire marry us. Although writing our vows was incredibly challenging, I am so glad we did. They were so personal and meaningful. We also had friends read an EE Cummings poem and included a statement that outlined how dependent our marriage is on the support of our friends and family.
Probably my biggest stress while planning the wedding was choosing a photographer – I am photo obsessed and needed to be confident that I would have no doubts. I spent 1/4 of our budget on photography and it was SOOO worth it. Lauren Brooks was perfect – professional, but approachable and great at what she does.
So much more to come…oh and Lauren Brooks, Nicole’s FAB photographer, is letting us feature her own very recent wedding in just a couple of days! It’s as gorgeous as you can imagine!
Also, you HAVE to check out the Little Black Book Blog today…James Christianson sent us the most spectacular Winter Wedding you have ever seen. The s’mores just might be the best thing I have ever seen.

Wow, she is so beautiful! And we share the same name!! I've got to know more dress details please!
I just looked at all 3 posts and this wedding is super stunning. It's got that touch of whimsy but a ton of class. Pizza. That's awesome.
I've shot thousands of weddings all over the world, and I've never seen pizza on a feasting table like that before, LOVE that idea, plus it makes me hungry. Nice touch, very cool!!!

sorry i won't be selling my dress! check the designers listed in the comments of the first installment for ideas on who the designer may be... i really have no idea and the bridal shop gave me a name that i can't find anywhere online.
I'd love to know where you got the little bride and groom toppers for the cupcakes. The pizza table is mouth watering!

Nicole...I love your veil! Where did you get it? Did you make it? How did you change it for the reception?
You looked beautiful!

Nicole,
I am curious what the last picture is of (cloth squares).
Do share...
Emily - THanks! i got my veil from: birdcageveils.com - for the reception i just clumped into a bunch and put a few pins in - i dont love how it looked, but i was so happy not to have it in my face.
the last picture is cloth squares - we had our guests sign squares of muslin with permanent fabric markers - one of our bridesmaids is making it into a quilt for us.
The most beautiful dress I've ever seen. I would be sooooo happy to be married in a dress that beautiful.
