Last week, I introduced to you our brand new DIY Editor, Kathleen (who won the DIY contest with her Custom Hot Coco Bags! Well, today, we get to see her own ridiculously gorgeous recent wedding, including all of the perfect little touches we’ve seen along the way. First, the gray and yellow, ultra-chic invitations that Kathleen designed for her affair…

From Kathleen…
Joe and I wanted the wedding of our dreams but we were facing a fairly modest budget. We started the process by setting priorities. For Joe, it was a generous and well prepared meal. For me, it was all the printed pieces and design elements. I am a graphic designer so I designed all of the invitations and accouturements. We splurged on having the invitation program letterpressed!
Here are a few more pics…

So much more to come from Kathleen’s stunning wedding!
Gorgeous! (As a side comment, you might want to remove the return address label picture that shows the address...unless of course it's their venue). :)
yes yes yes! these are gorgeous! grey and yellow is my absolute favorite combo.
These designs are gorgeous!!
These are AMAZING! I too want to develop a personal print (I'm a pattern designer) for our wedding invites. The quality of the letterpress looks gorgeous! AND our color scheme is also yellow :) Please reveal who you went with to get the programmed letterpress? This is so in line with what I hope to achieve. Thank you for inspiring!!!!
So glad I could inspire! I actually had to get the programs off-set printed since they were double sided but they turned out beautifully. Quality Press (www.qualitypress.com) was able to print the silver ink onto 100% cotton paper which made it look so rich. The rest of the pieces were letterpressed by Bryce at bjornpress.com. All the best and congratulations!
These invitations are gorgeous and absolutely make me swoon. Kathleen, have you considered starting your own stationery studio? I'm a graphic designer myself, and I love your work! These are great.
