I love Chandra & Michael’s story, love Chandra’s gown, and love that they opted to focus on God and His gift of marriage rather than on the frenzy of the wedding industrial complex. H2B and I feel the same way: rather than have a 6-hr wedding in NY 200+ with 200+ people, we’re opting for a 3-day intimate wedding weekend in Costa Rica, surrounded by our authentic loved ones.

Their wedding is beautiful, but even more so their attitude. The emphasis on God, the intimacy, valuing their own ideas over others’. Great stuff. (That said, I can’t wait for more pictures).

I love what the bride says about making the day something for them – not focusing on other people’s opinions that many times can cause stress during the planning process!
