More From Hawaii – Inspired By Style Me Pretty

December 2nd. 2008 by Eddye | Filed Under | 12 comments

We just had to show you some more shots from one of the Cakelava weddings featured earlier today. The event took place at the Paul Mitchell Estate in Kailua. Cassandra & David Dieterle served as wedding consultants for this couple and orchestrated the entire thing … and what an amazing wedding it was! Apparently, they used a number of Style Me Pretty’s inspiration boards for ideas and color palettes. Working with a team of local wedding vendors (many LBB members!) they created this fabulous fete.

Cake Lava Elaborate Hawaiin Wedding

The details in this wedding are just spectacular and even though you may not be lucky enough to have such an amazing Hawaiian location for your event, you definitely should tag these details as awesome.

Thanks to Rick & Sasha and Cassandra & David for sending us this spectacular wedding.

Wedding Vendors include: Cakelava, Cassandra & David Dieterle, Floral Inspirations, Yvonne Floral Design, Visionari, DK Designs, Angel de Armas, Gourmet Events Hawaii (Nobu).

oh my! the word that comes to my mind is rich.. and i mean that in a "what a deliciously rich chocolate cupcake" kind of way!

  3. Oh! That floral mandala thing at the front is just amazing. Wow!

  4. I love the small detail of the bow on the chair. It is subtle and classic!

  5. WOW WOW! That is am amazing set up there. The details of it all are amazing and I'm sure it was a pretty penny! I wish I could say I have DJ-ed a wedding like this, but I have not. Still waiting for someone to pay for my plane ticket!

    Wow what a beautiful location.

Using a marquee is great for weddings when facilities don't exist and if they help get married at locations like this - they're worth their weight in gold.

The decor is so over-the-top, it takes away from the surroundings IMO. But it's pretty overall. Just more of a formal ballroom feel than tropical beach feel.

  8. This wedding was coordinated by Cassandra and David Dieterle of Honolulu Wedding Consultants. Although we are also photographers, the vendor list above links to our photography web site and not our consulting site. So, just for the record, our consultating web site is www.HonoluluWeddingConsultants.com.

    This wedding was absolutely amazing!

Very very pretty. I love the flowers and the colors..pink, white with hints of green.

The design in flower petals blows me away. Absolutely gorgeous. Well done..NOT overdone.

    It enhances the environment.

Truly lovely wedding. Since I'm probably gonna be a destination bride, I am adding to my "oh I gotta have this" list the design in flower petals..

And it looks as though it was an intimate wedding. There's so much careful attention to detail (even loved the cake with purple touches). This wedding proves that you don't have to have a ton of guests to have a truly incredible wedding.

I'm having less than 100. Probably between 50-75, but I want it well-designed and attention to detail. I just might show these photos (gonna print them off) as one more inspiration..

  11. I love the floral monogram- what a great idea! The Paul Mitchell estate is amazing and Lanikai is the perfect backdrop for a Hawaii destination wedding.

  12. Really loved the look of th outdoor ceremony location and scattered petals on the grass - really wish we had outdoor ceremonies here in the UK
