First of all their designs are gorgeous! My weddding style is all about class and glam, on a budget. My fiance and I are paying for our own wedding so we want it to glamourous but not break the bank. My colors are Chocolate Brown, Champagne & Lime Green. My overall vision is for it to look classic, timeless & beautiful.

  2. Milene says:

The invites are so pretty! My wedding style is old world charm. My colors are champagne & mocha. I want a very light colored wedding, lace, flowers, and candlelight.

  3. Kirsten44 says:

Wow, I love letterpress but its not within my budget. My wedding colors are royal blue and pale orange. I want my wedding to look elegant but with lots of natural elements included.

  4. Alisha says:

So pretty! My colors are grey and pink with a 1950's vintage inspired flare.

  5. kate says:

I LOVE these! They are so lovely and classic, but very chic. great find.

  6. Katherine says:

Gorgeous! Our colors are navy blue and yellow. We want our wedding to be elegant, but with unexpected creative twists. We are planning to use lemons to replace traditional flowers as much as possible.

  7. Megan says:

Gorgeous stationary! The boy and I just got engaged on the beach in Santa Cruz and want to incorporate that laid-back sunny style to our July wedding. Lots of greens and yellows, long tables (no rounds!) with tons of home-cooked food, all of our friends laughing and celebrating with us, and outdoor all the way! We are trying to find an affordable outdoor venue in the San Francisco Bay Area that doesn't look like a place you would have a little kid's birthday party.

  8. Meghan says:

Our style is totally Florida. Citrus themed colors like yellow, orange and green - packed with a warm and sunny feel.

  9. Paloma says:

Really beautiful! The Mister and I are planning for autumnal elegance: silver, deep reds, and burnt orange.

  10. Tara says:

These are beautiful! Our wedding is formal meets rustic. The location is a Nantucket-style historic mansion by the bay but I like the juxtaposition of mixing formal elements with the unrefined atmosphere. There will be lots of white, ivory, cashmere and touches of gold and warm blushes.

  11. Danielle says:

Beautiful stationary! My fiance and I are designing our Big Day to be elegant and intimate, with lots of creative and whimsical touches. Our colors are watermellon pink, black and white!

  12. Brooke says:

Our wedding will be totally casual and lots of fun - focus is on the party! We'll include lots of different, bright colors (think wildflowers and gingham) for our June wedding at a working farm.

  13. Shantuck says:

We are planning a whimsical yet modern wedding reception in an urban / garden location in August. Our colors are navy and hot pink. These save the dates would absolutely complement our vision!

  14. birdie says:

How beautiful! We're having an elegant southern affair at a plantation, with jewel-toned hues of navy and green as the foundation of our look.

  15. Marte says:

    I have no wedding colors.
Our location has a clean & modern look, combining history, industrial details, modern art and lots of natural light. Combine that with the love & beauty brought in by the people attending the wedding, and I think the theme of our wedding will be happiness.

  16. Megan says:

I'm planning an artsy, eclectic and whimsical spring wedding with hues of red, coral and turquoise.

  17. Jessica says:

mmmm...letterpress! Our wedding is a cheeky version of north meets south, complete with a light blue and gray (plus pink!) pallete We're getting married in the his hometown of Lexington, VA on June 20, which is the day West Virginia (my home state) declared its independence back in 1863.

  18. carrieitly says:

We're going for an "old money" feel (on a strict budget!)... our colors are centered around French blues, dove greys, whites and ivories. Our evening ceremony and reception are on private horse property in Arizona with lots of cottonwood trees, grassy areas, and a stucco chapel where we will exchage our vows. We're playing against the southwestern style of the venue as I'm picking sweet, elegant details (lots of glass, tealights and flowing fabrics), and want the wedding to feel reminiscent of a party you might read about in something F. Scott Fitzgerald wrote.

  19. Lindsay says:

Oooo love the style of these save-the-dates! Our wedding will be all black and white, in a coastal beach town, so a few other punches of color will be incorporated too (maybe hot pink or grey or orange...TBD). Classy, simple, fun, and fashionable!

  20. Jenny says:

Our wedding will be held on Thanksgiving weekend, so we're planning a vintage-style turkey dinner with a pie buffet. The colours will be deep red and blue with cream and ivory accents.

  21. Erin says:

My fiance and I are going for a clean, simple look in a modern, loft-like setting. Our colors are navy blue, white, and citrusy green. We're planning to use a ton of natural color (white and green hydrangeas, limes) and let the best elements of our venue (exposed brick and beams) serve as decor on its own.

  22. Ingrid says:

These save the dates are beautiful! Our colors are dark blue and peach/pinks. We'd like it to be elegant, sophisticated, and clean. Our venue is open, floor to ceiling windows, and on the water.

  23. sarah says:

We are having a muticultural carbon-conscious bohemian beach wedding on the Mexican Riviera. Our colors are reflective of tropical fruit: papaya, mango, watermelon and we are also using a lot of natural fibers like raffia.

  24. Harper says:

Love the save the dates! My wedding is next September, outdoors. It will be a sort of french vintage meets Frank Sinatra kind of feel. My colors will be a smoky lavender gray with navy and cream accents. The decor will be silver stone roses, cream ostrich plumes and lots of candles. Simple, but dramatic. Thanks so much for considering us!! -h

  25. Abby Cozort says:

Oh my! Looking at the online catalog for Peculiar Pair Press renewed my creative energy. My fiancé and I are getting married in New England on October 3rd and will use the foliage as our inspiration. Our colors will be dark olive green and cranberry, with gold accents. We will use vegetables and fruits in addition to flowers to decorate for our outdoor ceremony and indoor reception at a country club. These save the dates would serve as the perfect introduction to the vision of our wedding as a classically romantic affair with a rustic flair.

  26. Annie says:

We are planning a romantic garden wedding on Labor Day weekend 2009. Our vision was to have a garden party where our family and friends could relax and enjoy one of the last days of summer. There will be luminaries in the trees, lots of candles for natural lighting, and plenty of hand tied white/cream flowers in mason jars to evoke the essence of a homegrown garden. We have chosen a color palette of amethyst purple and metallic gold to accentuate the base of whites and creams.

  27. holly p says:

These save the dates are great! We're planning a modern wedding with some creative DIY details. Our colors are jewel tones: plum, teal, and green.

  28. Stephanie says:

Super elegant designs. We got engaged in Morocco, so we are going with a subtle Moroccan theme, using some fabric we bought there. The colors are navy and light blue, with all white flowers.

  29. Natalie says:

Gorgeous! We are aiming for a "country chic" style for our Northern California wedding. The main color is yellow with lavendar and gray accents. We are on a tight budget, so my Dad's friends will be behind the BBQ and the bar. There will be many casual elements mixed with chic surprises.

  30. Emily R says:

Beautiful designs! Our wedding colors are yellow and pink. We're aiming for cheery, bright, and fairly casual with a few notes of elegance.

  31. Megs says:

We're planning ours for late August at a vineyard in Southern Quebec where I'm from. It will be a small intimate affair (my sister will marry us!) with lots of music, he and his friends are all musicians, yummy French cuisine with an antique country look. Lace, wildflowers, lantern and of course lots of wine! Our colors will be eggplant and mustard yellow. (kinda like the wine!!!) The theme will be eat, drink and be merry. With a little marriage mixed in there as well!

  32. Zolie says:

We are doing a vintage glam wedding with Champagne/Gold and Lake blue accents on 160 acre resort in the mountains. Think Legends of the Fall meets a 1940's speakeasy. Moody lighting, satiny textures and vintage images will dominate.

  33. Andrea says:

Beautiful save the dates! Our wedding is next October, right during the peak fall color time here in Minnesota. We are going with a natural, but colorful look. We will have copper, gold, burnt red, and brown colors incorporated into many parts of the wedding. Even my dress will be a light gold color to match with the autumnal decor.

  34. Melinda says:

Love the save-the-dates, they're gorgeous! My fiance and I are planning a September 2009 wedding. I envision a pretty casual affair...with a garden feel. The predominant colors I have in mind are cream, white, ivory, green and a splash of champagne/gold/light brown. Mostly, pastel colors. The mood I hope to achieve is natural, eco-chic, woodsy. Throw in some branches and candlelight and I'll consider it perfection!

  35. lauren says:

My wedding style is fun, bright, a slight Mexican flair in a rustic location - if we can find one! Right now the colors will be bright blue, pink, orange, and green.

  36. MJ says:

Our colors are dark blue and plum, with a vintage feel to match our location, which is a restored Victorian house.

  37. koandpo says:

I love these! Our wedding colors are Cranberry, Chocolate, and Champagne. Our overall vision is an elegant and romantic affair with lots of candlelight.

  38. Mandisa says:

Our wedding is a blend of Eastern and Western influences. We are melding traditions from my fiance's Indian heretage with traditional Western concepts and uniting it all with a classic, upscale and chic feel. Our colors are fucshia and orange.

  39. Erin says:

Ooh, I am a HUGE Peculiar Pair fan. Our colors are slate gray and kelly green, and our August wedding will be taking place in a turn-of-the-century factory that's recently been renovated and turned into a community center. The style we're going for is funky-elegant, a feel that strikes a balance between vintage and modern, perhaps tying in elements of both.

  40. Amy T says:

I am getting married on 10.10.10. Our theme is Southern Charm. Also, since I'm an educator, we have worked apples into the decor - from our color palette (espresso brown and apple green) to the centerpieces (tall glass jars filled with juicy green apples atop espresso brown linens). I want our ceremony and reception to relect Southern hospitality and charm, while encorporating the rustic appeal of the pond/farmhouse venue we've chosen.

These Save the Dates are GORGEOUS, and I know that would reflect the style and personality of our event perfectly!

  41. Nastassja says:

Those are fantastic Save the Dates. I've been hunting around lately for some just like those for my September 2009 wedding. The wedding is set at a bed and breakfast outside of Austin TX and will have an outdoor ceremony / covered ballroom for the reception. The colors are going to be black & white with purple (deep, bluish tint) as the accent color. It was my favorite color as a child & all of my family will appreciate that touch of personality (I just had to promise no purple flowers for the boys). We're going for a laid back, fun wedding - achieving that Texas feeling through tex mex food, fun music & the natural beauty that will surround us.

  42. summer says:

Our wedding is outdoors next summer. The colors are light turquoise and terracotta. I was inspired by so another member's "Inspiration Board" here on SMP. Were going for Southern with a bit of whimsy: )

  43. Caroline says:

My wedding colors are deep plum, pale green, and lots of creams and blushes as accents. We're having a traditional wedding with a swank downtown reception at a club atop one of Orlando's high rise buildings. We are going for a traditional wedding with a modern twist- and letterpress invites are a must as far as I'm concerned!!! These save the dates are gorgeous!

  44. Katie says:

Those are beautiful! We're having an outdoor wedding in upstate NY, and we're going for something simple and classic, but still with a little country, family wedding vibe. We don't have a set color scheme quite yet but everything will look very natural, with shades of blue, green, and brown.

  45. Sarah says:

I absolutely adore these designs! So pretty! Our wedding is going to be an evening outside wedding in June. We are getting married at an 1800's bed and breakfast and we're going for a vintage look with whimsical touches. Our colors are a light teal with soft yellows and pinks. The look we are going for is 'simply lovely'. We can't wait!

  46. Alex says:

Dusky purple at dusk at a Napa Valley winery! September!

  47. TK says:

We are having an outdoor ceremony on a deck facing the water and mountains. Our colors are ivory and shades of pink, and our mood is nature-inspired simplicity and romantic elegance with unique touches of DIY.

  48. Sheltered by spires of redwoods above
    We'll proclaim our undying love

Accented with lace, the colors white and periwinkle

  49. lizzy says:

fantastic save the dates! I was planning on making my own, but now that i've seen this i may have to think twice! our motif is black and white damask with chartreuse. we're trying for a "funky meets classy meets modern." My fiance and I recently traveled to Paris, and want to recreate the feeling you get when you walk into a chic Parisian boutique :)

  50. These are so beautiful! Our colors are deep raspberry, french blue, navy with gray accents. We are creating a simple rustic event with touches of whimsical details. We want a wedding that is creative and allows people to walk away from the event knowing us better.

Your ‘Summerfield’ invite would work spectacularly!

  55. Safiya says:

These are all beautiful. Our wedding is going to be a casual, rustic farm wedding focused around our love for music. Our colors are many shades of purple, black, and ivory. For many of the details we are using birds and related natural elements.

  56. Valerie B. says:

OMG!!! I LOVE letterpress but unfortunately it is not within our budget. My fiance and I are paying for everything (while paying back school loans!). This would be a fantastic prize to win since it would allow us to have something luxurious! My fiance and I are have a rustic chic wedding. The wedding is taking place during the fall in New England. Our reception will be in a barn built in the 1800's. Our colors are the deep colors of autumn such as deep reds, rust, copper, burnt orange, browns, and greens.

  62. Sara says:

Colors: Deep merlot, rich champagne, crisp cream.
Overall Vision: A cozy, candle-lit, waterfront lodge in early autumn. Inside the lodge is a warm and lively affair to celebrate the marriage – it’s not just about the wedding!
Look: Rich fabrics, hints of autumn leaves and branches, and plenty of SMP inspiration.

Thanks for considering us, Abby. We would be honored to have Peculiar Pair Press be a part of our day!

  63. I've been a huge fan of Peculiar Press from the very beginning! Our wedding style is a blend of modern and romantic elements with a soft blend of our two distinct cultures (Irish and Mexican)-we've coined our wedding a "Classy O'Fiesta"! We're using Indigo Blue, Oatmeal, Fuschia and small hints of black throughout our color pallette--our space is mostly white so we need a lot of color brought in. Please pick us!!

  64. Elizabeth says:

(Jessica: I went to law school in Lex, and I think that's an awesome theme!!!!)

I'm going with navy and white, with some lime green accents. I want to evoke the same feeling as a lawn with the kids playing touch football and the older, calmer set sitting in adorondack chairs on the lawn, drinking lemonaid and watching. Very southern late-summer. I wouldn't want a stray parasol or derby hat to look out of place.

  65. Jenna says:

These save the dates are beautiful! We're having a fall wedding in Minnesota but with aubergine and deep green colors with cream and gold accents. Our vision is simple rustic incorporating aspects of the fall season with flairs of our personalty (his love of cars and my love of cooking and cookbooks).

  66. sarah says:

Love the designs - so pretty!
Our wedding colors will be turquoise, coral (more orange than red) with cream accents. Nature will provide green/brown, as it's an outdoor ceremony.
I want the overall feeling to be easy, comfortable, pretty and organic. I really enjoy SMP - I visit daily!

  67. Amanda McGreevy says:

Colors: Chocolate brown, rich champagne & faded lavender.
Overall look/vision: Our wedding will be in a garden and I want our guests to feel comfortable. I love simplicity!

  68. April T. says:

I'm helping my little sister with her July 09 wedding, and her colors are yellow and brown with a Latin/Mexican flare. She is actually looking for Save the Dates now, so this is perfect timing. Here's hoping.

  69. Denise says:

We're pairing my Art Nouveau sensibility and my partner's playful cartooning!
Lake blue, white, and gold. Glass and crystal. Gilded miniature tiramisus (and a miniature budget, too).

  70. michelle says:

    Wow! How preety!

My wedding is classic and chic. It's being held at a small, southern resort in South Carolina in a little chapel overlooking the May River.

My style is clean and classic. When I look at my wedding pictures years from now, I don't want to wonder what the heck I was thinking...

My colors are dark chocolate brown, pink, nordic blue and a touch of burgandy.

  71. Kelsey says:

AMAZING! We are doing Vintage Modern in an old barn with white tents outside. We'll be using vintage lanterns and vases (thrift store finds), lemons, cryspedia, moss balls, and wheat grass for decor!

  72. Rose says:

I am not having a wedding soon, but I just had to comment and say how gorgeous these are! Wow! So pretty.

  73. Cara says:

Absolutely beautiful designs! My August 2009 wedding is a vintage Italian garden themed, featuring a variety of purples, from lavender to cabernet, with green accents and sporadic touches of black and white lace. My family and I are attempting to pull off most of the decor/space design on a tight budget, but we would love to spur our guests interest with some unique save the dates.

  74. Chandra says:

My wedding theme is vintage, romantic, and rustic chic. I will be wearing the Melissa Sweet Fern vintage lace gown, using antique skeleton keys and mason jars in my decor, and lots of candles and hand tied lush flowers. The ceremony is outdoors with a view of the California coast, and will have a very California casual feel while bringing a vintage element in. My colors are yellows and greens to compliment the outdoor setting. Also, I LOVE these invitations! I could totally see several matching my wedding style...

  75. Jillian says:

I'm a vintage girl--these made my heart jump! Just love them. We are going for 1920's and '30s glam--Fred Astaire and Frank Lloyd Wright are music/style inspirations. I love the classics, but also hope a little of us will be reflected. Spring 2009--yay!

  76. Kim says:

Wow-what beautiful invitations! Our summer wedding will take place in a historic castle. The invitations would be perfect for our special day. I just recently was recommended to visit this site and absolutely LOVE it!

  80. Courtney says:

We're doing a cozy, romantic, candle lit affair with a "forest floor on a midwinter evening" color palette. We're using shades of moss, brown, aubergine, and midnight blue. Should be so pretty. :)

Those letterpress save the dates are AMAZING. :)

  81. Michelle C says:

What a great opportunity! Peculiar Pair, illustrates both Beautiful work and excellent craftsmanship, and with my tight budget I would LOVE to get my hands on this!!!
Elegant and chic sophistication meets southern charm, I want to keep it simple with colors consisting of Whites, Creams, and Ivory's. There will be everything from beautiful antiquated china(thrift store finds),a rustic barn, a moonlit dancefloor, to bales of hay for guests to sit on!

  82. Hazel says:

The save-the-date cards are absolutely gorgeous! My fiance and I decided on a classic and romantic wedding style. We are having an outdoor wedding with a tent reception. Our colors are orange, gold, peach and cream.

  83. Charis says:

Stylemepretty is my homepage for my computer, and everyday I check what's been posted-- and these invitations are EXQUISITE!

My wedding colors are Jcrew's regal purple (which is more of a purple meeting sapphire blue), gold, and chocolate; with them I hope to create an inadvertently eye-catching event!

We are getting married in a huge Italian villa in the middle of East Texas, so we're bringing the tranquility of Tuscany to the timelessness of Texas, another sort of peculiar pair!

  84. Tracey says:

Our colors are navy and apple green. We're both farm kids so we're using wheat as an accent - in the flowers, as pew decorations, etc. It will be a simple, sweet affair.

  85. Laura says:

My fiance and I are using subtle champagne, chocolate brown and sage green for our wedding. Our reception is taking place under a 30 foot glass dome ceiling, giving a modern twist on what will be a classical and elegant New Jersey affair in August of 2009.

We love the symbol of the tree, and are utilizing trees throughout the day; coming from large families with strong heritages, we love the idea of setting down roots, combining two family trees in a way that will provide rest and comfort, bear fruit, and stand as a monument to timeless love.

  86. Kristin says:

Our Wedding Vision: A wedding that is uniquely us - minimalist, classy and some bold colors -- Indigo and Moss/Apple Green with a touch of silver.

  89. Devon Z says:

I'm a HUGE fan of Peculiar Pair Press- their designs as well as their background story. My fiance and I will be married in my hometown of Carmel-by-the-Sea, CA. We hope to create a artistically elegant wedding, uniting classic and bohemian elements. Out colors are a deep eggplant and navy, with hints of cream, black, and gold.

  90. Carly says:

Our ceremony and reception venue is a little piece of Los Angeles history built in the 1920's. Therefore, our wedding style will incorporate the dreaminess of romance and elegance with hints of vintage inspiration and sophistication. The color palette is gold, black, white and cream. We may add a fabulous summer shade to the mix as well!

  91. Angie says:

I am a european history buff and floral geek so naturally my love of those two created our wedding palette. 15th & 16th century Flemish and Dutch still life floral paintings. Lots of different textures and colors: pale garden roses, parrot tulips and rich plums. Very very romantic!

  92. Noble says:

These save the dates look great! Our wedding is going to be a classic style wedding in October in Miami with the possible colors being brown, orange and blue.

  93. Tara says:

These are absolutely GORGEOUS, it would be such a pleasure to have these as our save the dates! Our wedding colors are aubergine & pale pink. Our November wedding is taking place at a mansion in Maryland. The mansion we're getting married in was built in the late 1800's and I am incorporating a "vintage" theme. I haven't worked out exactly what that means yet (I've only been engaged a few months) but I know it will come to me eventually. :)

  94. Kelly says:

These are so creative and fun! Our wedding colors are black, burgundy, ivory and soft gold. Please help these sports nuts bring some elegance to their wedding! :) The date is 9/26/09 in Northwest Indiana, right outside of Chicago. Thank you!

  95. Mary says:

Lovely! Our wedding is black/white/silver---think a supper club with Frank Sinatra and Marilyn Monroe. We would be thrilled to have you do our save the dates!

Beautiful! Our wedding is a garden party: boules, croquet and bowls of punch. Colours are ivory, mushroom and dark, dark navy

  97. Raci says:

Ooooo so pretty! Our wedding is bohemian-hippie style. Casual, fun and happy. Most of the wedding is based on contributions from friends and family. Colors are chocolate, apple green, and yellow.

  98. august bride says:

These save-the-dates are elegant and punchy at the same time -- fantastic! The one in the upper right corner (Carolyn and Michael) definitely captures the feel we're going for with our wedding. We are throwing a vintage-art deco party with an urban feel. Our colors are cream and grey with blue accents (still working to pick the exact right shades of blue).

Regardless of who wins -- these are really great! Keep up the creative designs!

  99. Hillary says:

What beautiful save the dates! My fiance and I are recently engaged after knowing each other since we were freshmen in high school! We will be hosting a wedding overlooking the Austin skyline with black, white and grey for our colors (we may choose a few bright colors for accents). The feel we are going for is romantic, elegant and chic with a vintage feel...great gatsby meets Austin, Texas...on a budget and trying to stay as "green" as possible in everything we do.

  100. Megan says:

My wedding colors are mist blue and canary yellow, and the theme is vintage charm, we're having the ceremony on a hill that overlooks the ocean in San Diego! These save the dates are fantastic, and would go so well with everything I'm envisioning

  101. Heidi says:

Hi there! I just got hip to the wedding blog world and boy did I find a site that " saves the day" I love PPP save the dates cards in particular because they are artistic and a bit rustic but look very elegant and not at all ostentatious. Simple beauty.
Our wedding is in the rolling blue ridge mountains of Virginia where I grew up. My fiance and I live in California. So we inspire our wedding to be a blend of contemporary west coast flair mixed with a lot of Southern Charm. Our wedding colors are ivory and pale pink. Cheers!

  102. Rusha says:

I heart Peculiar Pair Press! We're a peculiar pair ourselves (he's 6'3" I'm 5'3", he's metro I'm retro, he's a Texas boy I'm an East Coast gal). We both love the look of letterpress but haven't found any invites to capture the vintage, classic, and pan-south asian feel of our wedding. My fiance is Buddhist Sri Lankan and I'm Hindu Indian so we've been looking for invites that are nondenominational, possibly have our elephant and lotus motifs, and are in burnt orange, purple, and chartreuse.

  103. kirsten says:

Gorgeous invites! Our wedding is a little bit vintage, a little bit eclectic, and just a wee bit country-comfortable. Our wedding colours are green and brown, so much fun!

  104. Kenzie says:

We're celebrating with a casual family-only ceremony at a sweeping, gorgeous botanical garden. Then, we'll get sassy with our Spanish-flair reception at a local tapas restaurant. We're expecting great music, a packed dance floor and free-flowing sangria as our friends and family bust a move. Our wedding colors are greens of all-kinds. We're hoping for a hugely enjoyable day that our guests look back upon wistfully.

  105. Hannah says:

Our wedding style is old world elegance with lush centerpieces of deep reds, purples, blues with a hint of gold, hundreds of candlesticks, cascading fruit, antique lace, wine, and a jazz band playing long into the late summer night.

  106. Youn says:

Our colors are plum, lilac, and eggplant. The theme is charming vintage garden, with lots of lace, painterly flowers everywhere, and details loaded with DIY charm. I want it to be intimate and romantic but decidedly unstuffy!

  107. Jennifer Dutton says:

Gorgeous! Our wedding is traditional/classic (catholic church ceremony) with a modern edge (reception at a contemporary museum). Our colors are apple green and white - perhaps with deep purple/plum thrown in to accent (still deciding if its too trendy). To be held July 2009 in Washington DC.

  108. The Yellow and Gray last one is awesome. I love it... the flowers are dogwood like, which i adore and want to use in my wedding, and Yellow is my color... and I was contemplating a gray hue to match with it... LOVE IT!

  109. Christina G says:

Love! Our wedding will be on the steps of a stately old plantation house in rural Virginia, and the reception on the grounds in the dining hall. We're going for clean and classic with a modern twist; think origami flower centerpieces and chic Grace Kelly-inspired glamour gowns. Colors are cream and bold shades of wine.

  110. Our wedding is at a winery with a very country feel - Our colors are green and pale yellow with red accents and we want it to have a very country garden feel w/ wine of course :)

  111. NaomiT says:

Our wedding is in a garden next to a beautiful historic mansion. It's a bit gothic but also beautiful and reminds me of the mansions in Newport. Our style is definitely vintage, garden, feminine and our colors are all shades of white/cream/ivory with accents of black, gold, and a bit of green.

BTW...that save the date with the hot-air balloon...I die. It is amazing.

  112. Mireya says:

We're pretty laid back and are planning on incorporating that in to the wedding (i.e. no tuxes, bridesmaids wearing dresses they can wear long after the date, if I can convince my family, although far-fetched- a taco truck to cater!, outdoor games, etc.). The wedding will be at a family friend's 70+ acre property with a beautiful barn and our colors will include different shades of red with ivory accents. We'd like our day to be fun, relaxed, sustainable, homemade, and memorable!

  113. JLS says:

I love love love the one in the lower left. The criss-cross looks like netting. Le sigh. Our wedding is being held in a church that dates back to 1707. It looks like an old Shaker house. I love it! We're keeping everything simple there - no color other than shades of creams, ivory, and greys. Once we get to the reception, which is at an old gentleman's club, we're adding in some antique golds, peaches, coral, and apricot to warm everything up. We're serving meatloaf and mac and cheese! We want the entire day to be comfortable for our guests. My fav thing we're doing is having an ice cream truck come to scoop cones for everyone. Ice cream is my weakness!

  114. Lauren says:

So beautiful and elegant. We're going for contemporary, simple, and elegant; our colors are green, white, and black. The reception is at the top of a tall hotel-- all windows, with gorgeous views of the city.

  115. Lindsay says:

Wedding Style: Down home southern with lots of DIY details
    Colors: Anything autumnal
Vision: Thanksgiving in October - rich fall colors, lots to be thankful for, family, friends, and food
Look: The ceremony will be traditional, then the reception is in a restored barn. My look is chic - fitted dress, hair in a loose bun.

  116. Anne says:

My fiance and I are planning a late summer wedding in Charleston, SC. We are excited to have a "city" wedding in a beautiful, classic Southern town. Most of the guests are Yankees, so we'll be introducing them to low country cuisine, beautiful florals, southern hospitality and sentimentality. I'm wearing my mother's lace wedding dress and we will wed outside under moss-covered trees.

  117. Meghan says:

These save the dates would be perfect for our Sept 2009 outdoor wedding! I love the flowery pink save the date; the ironwork at our venue looks just like the design, it's uncanny! So lovely!

  118. Janelle says:

Hi! Alex and I are planning a family & friends-oriented wedding with lots of laughs and candy to be had. Our colors are Dark Chocolate Brown and Fuschia (yes, i actually got him to say "yes" to fuschia!). Our cake decorator helped us come up with an old-fashioned candy store/bake shoppe wedding theme, with stripes and tons of glass containers for candy (along with huge cupcake-shaped cakes!) as centerpieces and for our candy bar. We're even having a cupcake-shaped pinata for the girls, instead of the traditional bouquet toss!

  119. Nichole says:

We chose a Victorian Estate as our venue. Our wedding day vision: Old world charm, whimsical, and timeless!

  120. whiteforest says:

We are getting married in August. Our venue is everything we love about our hometown, where the woods, the farm fields and the lake all come together. We're going for a sort of country-chic vibe. Our colors are eggplant with ivory and charcoal accents. I've been scouring the internet for letterpress save the dates and invites that are within our budget. I've checked out Peculiar Pair Press before and the designs are gorgeous; we'd certainly love to be able to send these out!

  121. Stella says:

Informal, untraditional, fusion wedding on a budget. We'll be tying the knot on Labour Day weekend in a classical Chinese garden with him in a kilt, and me in a fusion chinese/western wedding dress. Homemade marshmallows are to be favours, orchids to be the flowers/centrepiece and a wedding cupcake tree. There are no colours picked yet but definitely not pastel pink or blue!

  122. Juana says:

Brian and I are getting married next August at a great garden venue surrounded by a winery. Looking for that rustic-chic vibe with shades of creme, eggplant, brown and green. You know when you look back on an event you attended in your life and you just can't help but smile...we hope we create that kind of day!Not just for us, but for our friends and family too.

  123. Janet says:

As the mother of the bride - who is also active-duty military - I have been doing much of the initial searching and wedding planning for her. As an officer, she knows what she wants and likes: glamor, fun, vintage styles and colors that reflect the beauty of spring. How can I go wrong with your "Save the Date" cards?

  124. EmilyF says:

These save the dates are so classic and fresh at the same time! Our wedding is taking place at one of George Washington's original farms on the Potomac River. Our theme is a Lily Pulitzer-esque garden party. We plan on playing croquet and a game of kickball, as that's how I met my fiance. Our colors are various shades of pink and green.

  125. Melissa says:

John and I are having a September wedding in Northern Virginia when the weather is still warm, but the leaves begin to pick up their autumn hues. Using this transitional time as inspiration, I am envisioning rich chocolate and raspberry colors, accented with citrusy orange and green throughout our wedding. Peculiar Pair Press expresses a modern romanticism in their designs that I could design my whole wedding around. Please pick me!

  126. Kelsey says:

I'm head over heels with these save the dates! Our wedding style is what I'm calling "Sweet Southern Summer"...Southern & romantic using ivory, blush pink and olive green. These save the dates would be perfect!

  127. Mary says:

These save the dates are irresistable!!! They're sophisticated yet oh so fun! We're planning a pink and gold late spring wedding for 2010! We want a vintage feeling with a modern vibe to it! I'll be graduating from nursing school two weeks before our wedding, so it's going to be a tad hectic, but it'll be fabulous! It's a hard choice, but if I have to choose I love the save the date with the blue on it, but the invite with the butterfly is stunning!

  128. Sarah S. says:

Hi. Our style is royal meets hip and contemporary and military. Quite a combo. Our colors are hunter green, white and maroon. A true cinderalla wedding on a budget.

  129. Karen M says:

Bliss! These invitations are gorgeous! My partner and I are saying our vows on the footbridge crossing the Delaware River between Jersey and PA in November. The reception will be centered on organic and local foods and culture--serving micro and craft brews and ciders--with deep hues of persimmon, crimson, and olive green. Copper and oxidized copper lanterns will also play a part. Our reception will take place at an old inn from the 1700s--complete with original wood planks weaving their way through the plaster ceiling.

  130. Kate says:

We are getting married in a restored chapel in Newport, Rhode Island. There is a beach theme. I'm also trying to go green, and use recycled paper. My color is turquoise blue. Thank you!

  131. ash says:

WOW, i have been waiting for this! i've been a huge fan of pp for the longest. our wedding: low-key rustic charm in wine country virginia. horses and fields a-plenty. good food, good friends, good wine, good celebration! we both l-o-v-e letterpress but sadly must conserve funds for proper invitation.

  132. Harmony says:

It would be a dream to have letterpress save-the-dates from a company as amazing as Peculiar Pair Press! Our wedding is in a 1920-era hotel's ballroom, the colors are whites/creams/golds with a few rose accents, and the focus is on gold, vintage, and candlelight!

  133. Alicia G says:

A semi-formal wedding in San Diego with ocean inspired blues and lots of white flowers and candles. A reception overlooking the Pacific ocean in La Jolla Cove, one of our favorite places, with a touch of Louisiana traditions and style (my home state). These Save the Dates would be a wonderful first impression of the fun that family and friends from Kansas and Louisiana will have at our wedding.

  134. Mary L says:

Rustic farm style wedding in a pecan grove. The wedding will be held next November in the evening. Oranges, greens and browns with an organic style & organic food grown right there on the farm we will be marrying on. I plan to use mason jars to hold tea lights and flowers and have rustic wooden signs leading the way. White lights throughout the pecan trees. Most will be DIY budget wedding. I am an Arizona bride but originally from Pennsylvania so trying to make this feel as much as home as I can with a natural country theme.
