I just bought these ivory favor boxes at AmericanBridal.com, I'm going to put jelly beans in them that I purchased from Smart & Final. They're a really good deal, and I just think that rather than giving away wedding favors that might not be used, at least most people will eat the jelly beans...

Check out what I got, got them for 50% Off the clearance price:

Thank you for this post, its good to know that I am not the only person stressing about the wedding stuff.

I would like to use the mini teapot guest card holders with our vintage tea party theme. We are using all sorts of colorful tea cups plates and sauces and constructing centerpieces to look like a tower of tea cups, filled with flowers of course. These would be a really sweet accent.

I am using the mini wood pencil favors in my rustic themed wedding. I'm going to get a small flower pot and fill it with coffee beans and put the pencils in it. We aren't using the pencils as favors though, they will be used to sign the guest book which is made out of recycled paper and binded with raffia. It's going to tie my wedding together and I have been using these little pencils as inspiration for other items in my wedding.

Our summer wedding reception was at an apple orchard, with deep red dresses, baskets of apples and lots of sunshine! When I saw the red and ivory fall leaf favor boxes on the beau-coup website, though (http://www.beau-coup.com/fall-leaf-favor-boxes.htm), I began to imagine how it might have been on an autumn evening instead.

I can picture walking toward my handsome groom down a center aisle carpeted with fiery leaves, in a chapel lit by scarlet tapers in hurricane lamps. Afterwards, the reception hall would be warmed by the scent of pumpkin spice candles glowing among centerpieces of autumn fruits, flowers and leaves. Deep red roses might join yellow chrysanthemums, and mix with ranunculus, rose hips, berries, golden leaves and small red apples.

Instead of a candy buffet, a chocolate buffet would await. . . raspberries near a chocolate fountain, mini brownie pops, chocolate covered strawberries, and dark Dove chocolates in red foil. Guests would hardly have appetite left for the cake, with its smooth chocolate sides and brilliant red sugar flowers in full bloom. So, at the end of the night, they could carry slices home, along with their beautiful little fall leaf favor boxes, filled with packets of apple cider, chai, or caramel apple tea to enjoy on another lovely, rainy fall evening.

I love the little brownie pops (especially the red/yellow ones)- there is something so sweet and simple about them and make me think of my man who LOVES lollipops&sweets because he is a kid at heart. When I also saw the gorgeous Elle cake your featured from Impressions in Chocolate I decided I had to make a scrumptuous board with those beautiful colors! Here it is: http://oneamongsisters.blogspot.com/2008/11/beaucoup-favor-inspiration-board.html

I love those clear favor boxes ( http://www.beau-coup.com/clear-favor-boxes.htm ), they would be a perfect match for my little stone-like favors... (chocolate coated almonds with a stone design : http://www.boutique-pyrenees.com/upload/cailloux-aux-amandes.jpg )
It would be a shame to put them in opaque boxes ! And they would fit in perfectly with my orchid based theme... Right in the plate, on round tables with pink and white orchid centerpieces, in the charming Bressan farm we've rented for our wedding in France.

PS : in case you wonder, YES we can order from France ;).

I designed not one but TWO inspiration boards that showcase not only why I wish us to have our new beginning but where it is to be.

This is taken directly from my blog btw.. www.xanga.com/atlgabelle

I call the inspiration boards "Beau Coup Southern Soiree"!

"Without further adieu, say hello to the warm breezes of Jekyll Island and my Old South meets Old Hollywood inspiration boards!

Jekyll Island has been a special place for my son and I and now for my handsome significant other, Ted and I also. Years ago, I remember the first vacation I took after becoming a single mom ( was sad and another whole story for another day) and my son and I (he's 5 in the pictures) went to Jekyll Island where I was able to stay for almost free as I was then Pres-Elect of my medical society and was planning our state convention. We stayed a few extra days and explored and just enjoyed being together. Some of the pics were made at the turtle rescue center also! Now tell me this child isn't adorable? (you'll see board 1 here)

And then...

"Now, four years later his mom fell in love again and we'll probably marry where my little guy and I started our life again. My son loves brownies (made some last night) and I adore the beau coup monogrammed brownie pops (which match our color scheme of shimmery aqua, pink, and black of course!) as well as the dolphin wine stoppers which remind us of the fun dolphin tour we took on our trip. Incidentally, the dolphin in the other inspiration board is from jekyll island and the tour boat we took is at the marina right on property at the Jekyll Island Club which is the venue at the top of my list btw!"

Well, thanks to your contest I've found the perfect favors for my client's Sake Ceremony. Having the guests participate in the ceremony would be a perfect Favor and memory. Or labeling the sake cups and using as a place card. The guests can partake of traditional sake at the cocktail reception in their very own cup that will lead them to their table.

I think the min wooden pencils would be perfect for a rustic, romantic, and naturalistic, outdoor wedding in the mountains. I would tie a small tag around the pencil using twine with the bride and grooms name and wedding date on one side, and on the other side I would put the guests name. The pencil could then sit pretty on a table, above the plate, and act as a place setting.
