I wanted to share more pictures from today’s James Abel designed wedding! How cute is this…the bride, loved feathers and all things glittery, the groom loves test tubes and beakers as he is getting his PhD in Microbiology. James took their two loves and came up with this…

James never fails to surprise me. Each and every event that he crafts is totally unique…capturing the couple’s personalities to perfection. All of the stunning photos were captured by Angelica Glass Photography…and we have so many more on the way!

   I've done inexpensive glasses as vases and candleholders before but THIS is cool!!! I'd be willing to bet the beekers and test tubes didn't break the bank and wow, what a great look!

   Does anyone know what the pink "fern-like" flowers are called? I saw them at a wedding and love them-- but have no idea what they're called. Thanks!

   The flower is called Astilbe. It comes in a variety of colors.

This site had a bunch of cool stuff on the page so I kept it to the label not just the one post. www.dcnearlyweds.com/labels/Decorations.html I’m sure this is about 6 billion times girlier than you were thinking but it has a bunch of fun elements. I found this by searching for “beaker centerpiece” not really sure what I was going to find but I think the beakers and the fern-looking plants look cool BUUUUT I kind of freaked out when I saw the last jar on the bottom is labeled “love potion”.
