I love these simple, but rustically chic invitations. I doubt anyone would imagine that they are actually a DIY project!

Instructions
1. Choose image and/or text to be printed.
2. Make a carbon based print of image/text (xerox copy or laser printers work)
3. Place image on gocco machine – make master screen using the gocco and gocco bulbs.
4. Once the image is burned into the screen, you can ink it. Smear ink on the image burned into the screen, insert back into the machine, then press image onto paper invitations as desired. Re-ink as necessary.
5. Let it dry fully before printing any other sides (I let each side dry a full 24-hours).

I love these, I am in love with anything Kraft these days. Beautiful.
To the DYI contributor: How were they printed? Was the pocket/outer piece purchased as such, or created?
Sorry, I just read the printing instructions, somehow I missed those.
So cool! Are they printed on CD holders? Where did they find those?
Are those CD holders? I love the shape/style... where can I find them?
Spectacular! I've just forwarded this post to one of my brides who loves DIY projects.
Those CD holders (?) are great! Where can you find them, and are they made from recycled paper?
Gorgeous! Where is the swallow graphic from? I've seen it a few places but I can't ever find it myself!
Those are so cool! I would love to find out where they got the brown cardboard(y) cd holders. I just love love love them!
I want a gocco printer, but have no knowledge of them. could you give me some pointers or things that go along with the printer to make it work? im amazed by them, haha
These are gorgeous! But, I don't think I'm cut out for that much work. Has anyone done invitation kits... I really like DIY Couture Invites from Yumminess: www.yumminess.net
Seriously! What are these cardboard things exactly and where can I get them? They're awesome!! love it!
Hello everyone,
I purchased the 100% recycled chipboard cases from Stumptown Printers in Portland. They come flat, so you have to fold and glue them yourself. The graphic was purchased from iStockphoto.com.
I also have samples available in my Etsy store if you're interested in purchasing: www.loriming.etsy.com

I used a similar sparrow image on my DIY save the dates and response cards. I recieved a ton of compliments!
Hi,
what envelopes did you use for these? Was the final product at all bulky?
I may just have a go at it. I have already done our STD'd with my Gocco <3
I used 5.5" inch square craft envelopes. The invite is the width of a cd case.
Thanks! Was postage pricey?
i want GOCCO too!
ur invitation cards are all superb!!
Where can you get a gocco? I have looked all over...
i LOVE this. Does this cost more to mail?
I love these and was wondering where I can find the cardboard cd cases used?
I love these and have actually already found the supplies. My only worry is that I really don't want to have to buy a gocco machine to print them.
Does anyone have any other suggestions for printing??? Do you think these are something I could take somewhere to be printed?
I LOVE these. I have been looking everywhere for great unique invitations.
How did you find the dove on istockphoto.com
this is a pretty expensive diy after you get the gocco... in fact, you could have stumptown print these rather than buy a $500 gocco machine. any idea if you can rent these or something???
Hi Lori - we love it! Thanks so much for this helpful post. Can you tell me what kind of glue you used?
