Okay, now take the same little black dress that we featured earlier, and pair it with lavender. How gorgeous is this palette…

LBD by Nicole Miller on Bluefly, Lavender by Brandon Vick, Invitation by Ceci New York, Purple florals by Rosenow
To me, this look is totally romatic, completely dreamy. It’s striking but in a really timeless way. What do you guys think…does it work?
Wow! Very cute.
I'm doing the LBD for my bridesmaids.
My color combo is also very interesting yet sophisticated I think: shimmery light aqua blue, cameo pink, and black for accent.
Wow! I love the natural combination of lavender matched with similar palettes in the flowers. If you love lavender I was recently at a wedding out on the North Fork of Long Island and right next door was the most amazing lavender farm: Lavender by the Bay.
So pretty! And I love that little black dress!
I'm normally not a fan of purples, but this is lovely! My parents' 50th wedding anniversary is coming up in a few short years, and I'd love to throw them a small, classy party with their closest of friends, and this color palette really inspires me. (Purple is my mother's favorite color.) I love how the deeper shades seem to mesh with the black, and it's not so overly feminine as to make my dad uncomfortable. This palette is just classy!
I LOVE THIS!!! These are pretty much our colors :)

I admit that the last time I admired the color purple was back in middle school in the early 80's. But boy have I fallen in love again. I am loving the light lilac shades as well as the deep aubergine purples of late all coupled with the color chocolate brown. Just heavenly!
