Pink Inspired Real Weddings

It’s our last official day celebrating breast cancer awareness on SMP…I’m kind of sad to see Pink Week come to a close! But, I will say, I have some pretty great pink inspired real weddings to share with you today so let’s get right to it!

Heather Forsythe, out of Charleston, sent me this gorgeous pink wedding. Let me tell you what I really love about this wedding…the couple paired a frilly pink palette with a super rustic, outdoor space making the whole wedding seem mismatched in that incredibly perfect way. To me, this is what a beautiful wedding does…it brings together all things beautiful, but with different textures and styles so that nothing seems too planned or over designed. More pics on the way!

   I love the hot pink Nina Shoes! They are "pink-fect"! The growing trend of colorful bride shoes is so much fun!

   I love this! Can I ask where in Charleston this was? I love the picture with the trees lining either side of the path - and anytime I hear about an East Coast wedding on here, I get so excited! Absolutely beautiful!

   I got married at this same location and also had a pink theme. The bright color was the perfect pop and made for beautiful pictures. It's such a beautiful setting, you don't need much. I only wish I had thought to wear pink shoes! (Although I did change in to pink flip flops for a little dancing...)

   Well..my soon to be sister in law just let me know that it's at the Cottondock/ Boonehall Plantation in Charleston! She's getting married there too!!

    very nice! love the mood this photographer captures... that image of the bagpiper leading the bride and groom is really sweet :)
