When I told my dear friend Cat of Cat Seto in San Francisco, who just happens to be one of the most talented designers around, about Pink Week on SMP…she was so excited, she designed this insanely gorgeous watercolor notecard to celebrate the occassion!

Each of the 10 notecards that Cat is giving away to a lucky reader, is embellished with the most gorgeous Swarovski Crystals…if you haven’t seen Cat’s work in person, the images just don’t do it justice. It’s honestly, gorgeous.
For this giveaway, we’re asking brides all about their color palette…what colors are you loving right now?? We’ll pick a random winner! Oh, and definitely check out Cat’s awesome blog, ShopFriends, when you have a minute!

And the winner is…Lara!
“What fantastic notecards! I love the combination of a deep aubergine and a light, violet gray. I’m thinking of adding hints of light, pale green to the palette.”
That notecard is gorgeous! Our colors are grey and marigold :) I first saw them on Martha Stewart Weddings and loved the non-frilly modernity of it. Of course then I wanted to go grey will light light light light pink, but that was too feminine for my FI, so we stuck with the marigold :) I really do love our colors, and can't wait to implement them in every way we can!
Our colors are dusky pink and grey.....love the notecards!
Very pretty flowers. Making me want to learn watercolor to paint out the beautiful things in my mind.
These are beautiful - and I'm in San Francisco so I can't wait to check Cat out!
I'm loving a striking navy blue and peach combo I saw on SMP right now, but they didn't quite mesh with our venue/style. So I'm going with a summery aqua/teal and chartreuse palette that makes me smile everytime I think about how bright and cheery our wedding will be.
We were thinking of black and rusty yellow (a nod to my partner's football team) - but yellow isn't a colour that compliments me well (my skin is too fair) and then I saw the recent green-black-white real wedding here on SMP and fell in love with that colour scheme. Only problem is, I really want a colour co-ordinated candy bar and I can't think of too many green/black/white candies - any ideas? Anyhow, that's what I'm loving right now, but it's likely to change as we don't have an impending date.
This card is really fantstic. I really adore dove grey, plum and navy for a winter wedding!
fantstic, oops. I mean fantastic, duh. Apparently I could not buy enough vowels.
Our colors are various shades of coral, red, and orange (with a hint of pink and yellow). Playful and perfect for May!
Ooohs and aaahhs~ beautiful!! Our colors are a peach coral & champagne with hints of greens and browns. FUN! VINTAGE! and GLAM!
What a beautiful post card. We started out with our colors being lilac with pool blue and white accents. As the design process developed we decided to add different shades of purples to pull everything together. I just love how the colors worked so well together and yet still looked very classy.
Lovely! My colors are purple and green.
Love the cards, they're in my favorite color, hot pink! For our wedding we're using primarily navy with pops of hot pink so as not to overwhelm my fiance with too much girliness. The pink will be mostly in the flowers, with navy everything else.
Our colors are a very soft pistachio and ivory for an outdoor summer wedding by the water.
Beautiful invites! I wish I were an artist!
We are doing purple and blues which seem to be very in style for this fall as berry colors are all the rage.
I was really hoping for rose & powdered pink with a hint of ivory and green, but my Chinese family would appreciate some red in there too, so we'll see!
Those are a beautiful set of cards!
Beautiful notecards! Makes me wish that I was not at my desk working and playing with papercrafts instead.
Calin and I are getting married on October 17, 2009 in an outdoor evening ceremony lit by candle lanterns. Our color pallette is a deep blue and tandoori/rust with a little burst of apple green.
I'm loving the dark plum I see all over stores for fall. Coupled with some pale pink and cream accents, I think it would be a really lovely and sophisticated palette (and hopefully not too girly for the groom!).
I love burgundy & copper! Wonderful for our upcoming fall wedding.
These cards are darling, I love them! The colors that are really awesome right now and would fit for any season are navy blue and fushia. The combination of a dark and light component for a palette really work well! Navy blue bridesmaid dresses are sophisticated but add that fabulous pop of fushia and spring green and you have a wedding full of grandeur and flair! Who wouldn't love that?!
Cat's work is gorgeous! I finally settled on our wedding colors of navy and fuschia with accents of green for our summer wedding.
I don't really have a set palate, but I'm enjoying a lot of muted jewel tones - oranges, browns, purples - sounds strange, but looks nice.
These cards are beautiful! Our February wedding colors are light blue, lavender, pink and lots of green.
For fall, the colors I am currently enjoying are navy blue and burnt orange...so festive yet classy and sensual all at the same time!
My wedding will be in the spring, so we will be using antique gray, ivory, and raspberry sorbet for our color palette.
Black and white--classic yet modern, and easy to match!
I wish I could see these in person. The boxed cards seem like great little gifts. My main color so far is red. I can't decide it I want to mix the red with baby blue or the "tiffany" blue/aqua.
I can't wait to shop for invites. I'm putting Cat Seto in my bookmarks for when the time comes...
Thanks for sharing!
Gorgeous cards :) My wedding colors are classic black and ivory, but if I was going to do a fall wedding right now, I would be swayed by deep purple and gray.
Copper, terra cotta, green & brown. And crystals - crystals make everything better!
What fantastic notecards! I love the combination of a deep aubergine and a light, violet gray. I'm thinking of adding hints of light, pale green to the palette.
Those cards are nice, good job.
Our colors are purple, gray and green. I have no idea how they are going to look together, but coming from a Mexican family all I know is that I want the colors to pop and be dramatic.Like they say you only get married once.
Our colors are pink and coral with navy!
Pink and chocolate brown are the two color pallettes I'm in love with right now! They are my wedding colors. We're getting married early August in the city and I thought the pink was so feminine and sophisticated and the brown masculine and citified and when the two come together it creates a perfect match:)
Our colors are a deep plum with light purple, pink, and white accents. We added the lighter colors to make the dark purple work better for spring. I also love color palettes with navy as an accent - I think both pretty apple green and medium bright purple dresses look great with navy sashes at the waist, especially if you put the groomsmen in navy suits!
We're going for deep reds and golds with blue as an accent colour. At least, that's the plan right now...
The layered colors of the flowers are lovely. My colors come out in the accents to a pewter background: bright green, goldenrod, fuschia, and a darker pink-red.
Shades of pink will likely be used at our wedding, but I also love summery yellow because it is a happy color
Lime green, black and white. Saw this recently on SMP and thought it was so cute and chic.
The notecards are beautiful! They make me SO jealous of her watercolor abilities, since that's something I've never been able to master.
The colors I'm using are different shades of purple and blues. I'm using everything from lilac (the flower inspiration for the purple) to deep, dark purples and pale, sky blue to bright robin's egg blue. I'm striving for bright jewel tones of those two colors.
My colors are sunny yellows and bright greens, with touches of light blue as well, which will all compliment the outdoor wedding with ocean view that I will be having.
Lovely notecards!
The colors I love right now are jewel tones, purples, greens, teal, even yellow and orange. They are such vibrant, happy colors. I also love light green and pink with brown, so quiet and classic and earthy. I go back and forth between both, and can't decide.
Great notecards! I adore vintage roses -- from ivory blush to dusty deep pinks, the muted, dusty tones keep this monochromatic palette beautiful but understated. Perfect for my English garden-themed wedding.
i'm obsessed right now with deep yellow and gray tones! I think of fireflies and crisp evenings.
I knew I definitely wanted green in our palette. But, I wasn't sure what shade. I also knew I wanted a contrasting color. I almost went with a navy color, but instead went with plum purple. Our colors are apple green (like a granny smith apple) and then the plum purple. We are have green tipped roses/purple & white cala lillies/green & white hydrangea... and more! I'm SO excited!!
our colors are navy blue and fuschia. we're having an evening outdoor wedding and wanted colors that looked bright and formal
Gorgeous notecards! Our wedding/reception are outdoors, so we'll be using colors like green and raffia to capture the spirit. Thanks for all of the great giveaways! :)
Our colors are pinks and taupes with a bit of green.
I'm loving anything with pink and anything soft neutral shades.
These are just gorgeous--so feminine. Awesome work!
As of now we're working with a bright, happy combo of shades of pink and orange. It will draw a bit on my fiance's south Indian background in a modern way :) YAY!
oooh, gorgeous cards! Our colours are champagne and dusty rose
I love the watercolor! I wish I could get my watercoloring up to that level. Anywho, my wedding colors are deep purple, dark green, and brown/bronzes. Think forest with some deep purples and plums.
These are beautiful! For my wedding I'm digging peacock colors: deep and rich blues and greens, with hints of yellow, red, and orange interspersed throughout. Yummmm.
That card is gorgeous! I am using a deep eggplant purple as the main color for the wedding with pink flowers, eggplant mini callas, and a touch of deep red as an accent in the flowers only, but not in other parts of the wedding.
Beautiful notecards. My wedding colors are plum, gold, and ivory.
Pretty cards. My wedding colors are peacock colors, but mainly teal. My accent colors are going to be in the flowers with a mixture of coral, pink, ivory, lavender, and lime green.
Such eye-catching cards! Our wedding colors are deep ocean blue and beach sand tan.
Beautiful cards! The colors for our June wedding are navy blue and apple green with lots of white...classic but fun and fresh.
I'm loving soft yellow and white color palate for an outdoor garden wedding in spring. With white daybeds for guests to lounge with yellow patterned pillows.
Beautiful cards, I wish I could see them in person. For our wedding we are doing purple and blue and cream accents.
These cards are stunning! I'm in love :) We are having a pink and green wedding, floral themed
LOvely!! We are trying for orange and celadon with a cream neutral because it is a destination.
Such beautiful work! We've chosen ivory and brown, with touches of orange throughout. Perfect for our fall wedding in Mexico!
i love cat seto, i visited her shop when she first moved in when i was on a business trip in san francisco - so charming! my colors were navy w/ light pink and cream accents
We'll have pink dresses, but the colors in the reception site are pastel blue and a deep red. I'm trying to work greens and tans in to balance the other hues. And of course my ivory dress.
Our color palette is kelly green and pale turquoise... still debating whether to add chartreuse to the mix. Definitely a work in progress!
We are working with light pink and dark chocolate brown (the cherry blossoms will be in full bloom for our wedding!!!!) and are adding a punch of warm aqua for impact.
we want black/white with coral as an accent color but wewant the overall mood to be art deco.
I love black, ivory, white and lime green!
I would love those for my bridesmaid thank you cards!!!
They are fabulous, glamourous and PINK!
My dress is a non-traditional color, more of a rich cream. So I am thinking a dark rose colored pink with cream, but havent quite settled on an accent color yet! Our venue has beautiful pastel green walls so that is what my backup plan will be :)
We are still in the beginning stages and deciding on colors but aquas and shades of yellow for our summer/beach wedding are coming to mind.
While it's a work in progress I am thinking winter shimmers with steel grey and icy blue hues.
my colors are poppy red and light blue... PMS 193 and PMS 310 to be exact. i love these colors together and i'm super excited to throw them into our october wedding next year! i'm working out bridesmaid dress colors but i think i'm going to have them rock the red.
So pretty! I am using LOTS of green tones with chocolate accents.
Our colors are a work in progress, I love the look of pale pink peonies with accents of sage and other shades of pink flowers. So that has been my inspiration. I am hoping to work in some chocolate brown to go with our outdoor ceremony site.
Haven't really picked a color scheme yet, but I love the vivid pinks!
After many changes we are sticking with a dark marine blue, apple green and ivory! The colors are pulling together so nicely!
Our wedding is going to be by the lake where my fiance grew up...so we are definitely incorporating deep blue tones into the colors.
We're looking at what I call peacock colors right now - dark turquoise, bright green, and eggplant purple. But anything can still change. I love jewel tones!
