I have a little bit more to share with you from today’s featured wedding shot by Cameron Clark. Everytime I look at these pictures, I want to get married all over again. This wedding is so understated, and yet the beauty of the day shines through every corner. I love that.

From Cameron, Carol and Steve…
Another really cool project…Carol repurposed a wedding invitation to conceal their vows. Designed by Carol and Steve’s friend, Kristie, is a local Flagstaff artist and teaches art to junior high students in Winslow. She designed them to be reminicent of the wedding site, and linoleum block printed an edition of 100. She signed and numbered each. The result was that each guest received a limited edition piece of art that commemorated our wedding as well as an invitation.
From Steve…my sister made the wedding cake. This caused great anxiety with my mother, who feared an amature cake might somehow be the wedding’s downfall, bringing only ruin and despair to our big day; my sister is an air traffic controller, and not a professional baker. The end result was beautiful, though, and was a great way to put money into areas our guests would appreciate more directly.
Oh, I just love all of these personal touches. Not only do they bring a sense of intimacy to the wedding…Steve and Carol now have so many stories to tell about their big day! Thanks, Cameron, for sending to us and a HUGE congratulations to Steve and Carol!
I am just wondering about the beautiful bark/wood flower vases. Where did she find them? How did she make them? Basically, I want them! :)

I love it when couples incorprate fun games for their guests. I've always wanted to shoot a croquet match. I was close once but it got to dark before the bride was able to participate. I did get a few of some of the guys playing bocce ball though. I also did have one where the bride and groom brought a Cornhole game (beanbag toss) Maybe someday I'll get a bride that is a volleyball player!

Hi McKenzi,
Our friends Tamara and David created the floral centerpieces. They visited the area where our wedding was to be held and selected a fallen aspen tree. Our wedding ceremony was surrounded by aspen, so this was a beautiful way to tie in the centerpieces. They cut it into rounds with a chainsaw, then drilled a number of holes into each for the flower stems. The holes were cut with a hole saw bit, which is available at home improvement stores and is often used for cutting the large diameter holes in doors for doorknobs. There are about eight holes in each centerpiece, so although it appears to be one vase, each is really a number of vases close together. They sealed the bottoms with a lacquer to avoid water seeping onto the tablecloths.
We're really grateful to our friends for putting this all together. Tamara also selected all the flowers and arranged them flowers with help from our friends Allison and Mitzi, and matched the centerpiece floral arrangement to her choices for the bride's bouquet.
Oh those chocolates look so delicious!
BEAUTIFUL pictures & great ideas, thanks so much for sharing all of these! :)
Hello
Does anyone know where the purple dress is from that the adorable girl is wearing who is holding the little baby? It's adorable!
Alyce, I saw a dress very similar to it last spring on chasing-fireflies.com!
