I have to say, I knew from the minute I received Erich and Debra’s save the date, that this wedding was going to be good. They had a vintage Palm Beach postcard replicated with their save the date printed on the back side. It was absolutely adorable…

When the invitations came, I knew instantly that the wedding would be filled with cute personality and fun little touches. They were designed by ephemera press with pale yellow and slateĀ ink letterpressed on pretty white card stock. Check out the wording, it’s the best part…

IF you can’t see the text, it reads:
Debra Ellyn Brodsky and Erich Beeton Shigley / Together with their families / Invite you to share in the celebration of their marriage / As Debra becomes a Red Sox fan and Erich learns to use the dishwasher…(it goes on with the date and time from here)
How cute is that? I always encourage brides to think creatively when it comes to their invitations, but this is the first that I have actually received where they did just that!
If the save the date and the invitations weren’t cute enough, Debra had the fabulous Stephanie of Couture Maps design these adorable maps of the sculpture garden where the ceremony took place.
(Quick Note, there was a typo on the original post. Betsy Dunlap was the calligrapher but Stephanie crafted these maps)

Don’t you just love??? In the words of Rachel Zoe…Bananas!!
This is great! I love the "super fun wedding ceremony" card.
Where can I get the Save The Date made? I love it.
What a beautiful wedding! I can see why you were 'jumping for joy'!!! Thanks Abby!
Hey Abby! I was Deb's calligrapher for most of the materials, but I didn't do these maps! Just wanted to make sure that proper credit was given. Thanks!
I love the maps! I would love to know who made them. Thanks!
I really like the fun-yet-elegant nature of the "super fun wedding ceremony" card!
Sorry about that guys! I am 99% sure that Stephanie at Couture Maps created the maps. Am double checking on that, though.
Hi! How did she make the Save the Dates?
I love everything about the wedding. Do you know who did the wedding invitations? I thought they were so delicate and fun at the same time!
Thanks.
The weddings were by Ephemera Press...

I will ask Debra who made her save the dates:)
hi everyone! the save the dates were made by my friend meredith, who does all sorts of wedding ephemera (but unfortunately does not have a website at present!) here is her email, if you would like to reach out to her - she is absolutely wonderful.

i brought her a vintage postcard of palm beach, and she did all the rest!
I love the postcards. I did that for my sister's wedding in NYC two years ago. It was perfect! We found an old postcard of Rockefeller Center, the kind that looks painted, their wedding was right across the street. It's a great idea!
So I wish I was already getting maried it looks so fun, to bad im only 14 lol
Hi-
Did your friend print the save the dates also or did you have those printed separately. Those STDs are awesome. I am feeling somewhat pressed for time to get mine out. How long did they take?
Definitely among the coolest wedding invitations/maps I've ever seen. Just goes to show that a little creativity (in this case using a postcard) goes a long way in making your special event unforgettable.
Can vouch for Meredith's design style also! she did my wedding invitations, my sister's save-the-date and invitations for a bunch of my friends. All have been incredibly unique, memorable and creative. Also she has to be about the easiest person to work with and is willing to work with essentially any timeline. Maria - wldnt hesitate to get in touch with her if you want to go the custom route.
These are really nice. The map is very cute. We use similar styled maps for our invites. This is their site.

This could be of intrest to this post?
I used the same idea for my STDs. My fiance is a photographer, so I used a great shot he took at Punta Cana, Dominican Republic (Destination Wedding), uploaded it to zazzle.com and turned it into a real, glossy front postcard. I printed the location and date on the front and on the back asked everyone to save our date and guided them to our website for details. You can personalize completely by using different fonts type and color, add a backgroud pattern, everything!
