A Wedding Soiree by Tara Guerard, III

A few more tid-bits from the oh-so-chic Tara Guerard

Top Left: The lounge tent was lined in copper and blue and had chandeliers hanging from the ceiling. We had wicker chaises and sofas with matching pillows and throws! Picture perfect!

Top Right: Jim Smeal makes the most amazing and delicious cakes! They were designed after the bride’s lace on her dress!

Center: We had three cakes, all had different layers and favors! Since we can get a bit obsessive, one favorite had to be blueberry to match our color scheme!

Bottom Left: For the send off we placed rose petals in a simple mesh bag with a tag that read “tied the nott!” We had to incorporate the bride’s last name of “nott”, all the way through… starting with the guests bags and ending with their send off.
Thank you so much to Tara and her team at Soiree in Charleston. Your work is that which will forever inspire us!!

  11. Hi! I am the bride. Thank you for all of the sweet comments. It was such a special day. Tara and her team did an amazing job and Adrienne captured all of the moments and little details perfetly too. My dress was made by Monique Lhuillier. It is the “Miranda” dress. The dress was part of her Fall 2006 line, but I think you can still find it. Great website!
