There are three reasons why I am completely obsessed with today’s real wedding feature. First, the photographer is one of my favorite Little Black Book members, Amy Squires…her work is so pretty, I just love to brag on her behalf.
The second reason is that the bride, Karrie, is launching a new custom invitation business, called Posh Paperie, that is just too cute for words. I love to support up and coming businesses, so writing this post was a lot of fun for me.
And the third reason is that the wedding is FILLED with silhouettes…and I LOVE silhouettes!
So, let’s get right to it!

How great is this wedding! The cake…oh, the cake. Melody Brandon of Sweet & Saucy designed the cake and I have to say, it’s perfect!
I really love that Karrie and Brian used simple centerpieces with huge pops of green. It’s an inexpensive way to make a big impact. And to be honest, every detail reflected this same sense of thoughtful sophistication.
The couple even hired a silhouette artist to cut custom silhouettes! Ummm….I think that is about as good as it gets!! What a creative and unique idea!
I have more photos coming soon, so stay tuned!

Love the fruit centerpieces! I’m a big fan of non-floral centerpieces in order to save money or just feature something a little different from the norm. (In fact, just did a post on this not too long ago).
I also love the green shoes - we’ve been seeing a lot of red or turquoise shoes lately and I love the creativity.

Does anyone recognize what brand these shoes are? I am looking for a pair in this exact color for my wedding. These would be perfect.

Mhhh… This post and other recent ones have made me really partial to making the black/white/green combination my palette… Love the shoes too, and they’re surprisingly affordable, but unfortunately I just checked out and they’re not available in that color anymore. They only have them in black, tan, and some metallic colors, which are also very pretty. Just thought some other girls might like to know…

There is something so simple about this wedding, which I love. The colors of green and brown turned out lovely. The fruit in a vase is super easy and sweet.
