I just got married in august and the colors i used were fuschia, persimmon, lime green and a little yellow. my florist made the most amazing centerpiece in a tall cylindrical vase. she filled the vase with oranges, many of which were cut in half and lined the vase with some whole and some half oranges. then she put branches at the top with big green berries on the ends. anyway, i loved the use of fruit and i think you could incorporate that if you use orange. we also used la tavola linens (tuscany spice napkins and seat cushions with white tablecloths). it was a beautiful color. i liked that it wasnt a bright highlighter orange. if you do go with orange, i think that's a very nice shade and would go well with the shell colored dress.

I go for orange. I think the dress would look smarter and astonishing with orange accent.

I love this Paloma Blanca dress, it is truly simply and stunning all at once. The shell color would still go very nicely with the orange with peach as an accent color. I have this dress here in the shop so I am very familar with the color, orange would be beauitful and rich!

I have the exact same dress, except i got it in the brocade fabric. Our wedding is at the end of this month and we are using 'creamsicle' orange and a light green and ivory as our colours. Everything is coming together so well. The colours match the romantic feeling of the dress. I think it could be played both ways though, a bright orange would make it look more modern and the pastel type colours make it look more romantic. Either way I obviously love your dress!

Absolutely you can stick with your original plan for orange- the shell will really warm and soften things up, and make it that much more classy! Like some others have said here, you could even use one shade of orange (like a juicy, straightforward orange) as your primary color, then through in shades like apricot or vermillion as your accent colors. Whatever you choose, I know it's going to look beautiful!

I just did an inspiration board on this very palette:

I think the "shell" sounds like a wonderful combination with orange and white. I've recently really taken a liking to a good orange paired with a light light pink (shell) and white. Ultimately, if you like the way the look feels, go with it...everyone else will also (especially if you play it up with a matching signature drink or popsicles)!

I think there is something about "Orange" that films absolutely stunning and would be just beautiful. I say go for a Pumpkin Spice type orange and throw in some Creme Cicle for added dimension.

I agree with the comment by Danielle. Warming up the orange with shades of apricot, peach and blush would be beautiful and very Spring"y."

Go with your original color palette! These days the color theme is like your belt, shoes and purse...in the old days everything had to match perfectly. Now it doesn't need to match at all so I recommend going with what you originally planned. Great dress!!

I think that perhaps taking your initial "bright orange" and warming it up a bit by going with darker and lighter shades of orange, paired with peaches, apricots, etc. will add the depth needed to still work with this dress. Perhaps a little rose and blush would help as well.

I think Orange would still look great with that color dress! If anything, you can use different shades of Orange here and there so blend with the shell.

That dress is beautiful, by the way! Does anyone know the maker?
