An Inspired Wedding

Without question, my favorite days on Style Me Pretty are those where readers send in Real Weddings based on inspiration boards that we’ve featured in the past. So, when Kacie sent me pictures of her own recent wedding and the board that started it all, I changed the direction of today’s post!!

Kacie designed an inspiration board for on of our contests a while back. Here it is…

And here is how her insanely gorgeous wedding turned out…

photographs are all taken by Kacie’s childhood friend, Dawn Heumann, and her sister in law Lisa Dick

I am impressed by how beautifully the inspiration board translated into a real wedding. The vintage chic charm is just so lovely…it seems like every detail was tended to.

Stay tuned, we have more details and photos from Kacie’s wedding!!

  1. So pretty! I want to see more pictures, though. Who is the gown by?

  2. She looks beautiful but the Melissa Sweet Lia dress is everywhere.

  3. The lace accents give such a romantic yet countryside touch to the wedding. Takes it from feeling a bit to buttoned up to a more relaxed, joyous affair. Lovely.

  4. It is a super popular dress BUT she looks incredible in this dress, it fits her beautifully and was a perfect choice with the other elements going on.

  5. Those lace accents are great! what an easy DIY to update basic candle holders. love it!

  6. She looks beautiful in the dress. I think sometimes we readers-of-many-bridal-blogs forget that not every guest will have done the same, or be so well-versed in wedding gown trends. The point isn’t to I’m sure the only thing her guests were thinking about the dress was how beautiful she looked in it.

  8. Beautiful wedding! I am planning a similar vintage inspired wedding and I would love to have a close-up picture of her bouquet. It is exactly what I am looking for!

  9. yes that inspiration board is amazing. love the white, soft pink, champagne tones and sweet elements. the real wedding is equally amazing. how do people make it look so effortless?
