We have tons of wedding details for you to swoon over today. You know, those perfect little touches that turn a great wedding into one that is truly special. I love, love, love these wedding details that photographer, Lori O’Toole sent me…

The centerpieces were peonies (local, in season) set in dishes of moss and bluestone rocks from the property where the wedding took place in upstate NY. The bride and groom are both writers and wanted a personal touch on each table. They bought numerous copies of their favorite books (used of course!) and bundled them with ribbon to go on each table. Guests were encouraged to take home any books they wanted. Too cute.

I would have loved to have done this at our book-themed reception! Each table was named after one of our favorite books that also described the guests at the table in some way; the escort cards were printed as though a card in an old card catalog system and displayed in old card catalog drawers. Our guests loved it and many later told us that they had read the books they had been associated with at their tables.
