When I was initially planning this new site design, I really wanted to focus on one thing…the details. I wanted every area to be thoughtfully designed so that you guys would have a really nice experience when you were browsing around.
Weddings are much the same. I’ve said it a million times but it really is “all in the details.” So in honor of our new site, and all of its new details, I wanted to spend a week highlighting the beautiful details that our Little Black Book members have captured.
This first set was sent to me by Ingrid over at Myrtle & Marjoram Photography…

Top Left: For me, flip flops are a must. The only way that I am going to dance the night away is if I can kick off my shoes and get comfortable. I love this bucket of flip flops.
Top Right: Another great detail for any wedding is a signature cocktail. SUCH a good way to bring a bit of personality into the affair and save a bit on the bar bill!
Center: The cupcakes are so cute. I love that they are presented in a really simple, understated way. Like the bride was serving her friends a sweet treat in her own home.
Bottom Left: The lily of the valley bouquet is just so beautiful. Such a pretty, romantic touch.
Bottom Right: I love when florals are potted in containers that are casual and rustic. Pairing the beautiful blooms with a copper pot that you might see in someone’s home, is a nice way to make your decor seem warm and welcoming.
So many more perfect details to come throughout the week! Thanks so much to Ingrid at Myrtle & Marjoram for the inspiration!
I love the flip flop idea. Perfect for those that haven't broken in their new shoes.
These details give me a sens of rustic chic. How delightful! I love simplistic elegance - very romantic.
Your blog is a breath of fresh air. I eagerly await each post like a five year on Christmas day.
I love love love the site redesign. I read everyday but almost never commented, but I want you to know you do a wonderful job. Style Me Pretty is one of the best parts of my day!
Browsing around is easy, organized...a pleasure. A wonderful job, you must be very pleased. And, the basket of dancing shoes? Too cute.
I adore the Lily of the Valley bouquet. Not something you'd see as an everyday piece and adds a bit of whimsy to the bride's look!
Have any of you seen the video montage displays that can be put on each guests table?? I just read a article about them on www.weddinghoneymoonvacations.com and wondered if any of you had seen them actually used at a wedding. Thanks
