A Brand New Site!
Welcome to the new (and improved, of course) Style Me Pretty! This site re-design has been such a labor of love, in the works for over six months now….so needless to say, I am beyond thrilled to finally introduce it to you!
Before we dive into today’s posts, I wanted to take a minute to highlight some of the great new features that the site has to offer…
*Organization Overhaul: We have done a total gut renovation of all of the posts and pages within the site, breaking them down into clear categories that are really easy to sift through. Check out the wedding style page for a breakdown of posts and the real weddings page for a look at real weddings categorized by style. Oh, and we FINALLY got a complete DIY projects section up and running!
*Community: We’ve added a new community section which includes a forum where you guys can chat about color palettes, DIY projects and even a place to ask our Little Black Book vendors questions! We’ve also added an events calendar where we will be featuring fun events in your area.
*Little Black Book: Our Little Black book has had a complete overhaul. We’ve added drop-down menus that make it really quick and easy to get to our featured vendors in your city. We are adding new cities and states every two weeks so make sure you check the book regularly! We’ve also added a complete list of Little Black Book Blogs in the right sidebar, so you will have TONS of bridal inspiration to keep you busy for weeks (maybe even months) to come!
There are so many more fun accessories that we will be adding to the new site in the coming months. I can’t wait for you guys to see everything that we have in store!

This site DEFINITELY would not have been possible without the creative talents of Heidi Yarger of Spitfiregirl Design and her amazing developer, Otis McCort. Heidi has over 13 years of design experience and she really brought it to the table with this project. Aside from the insane task of re-organizing all of the content, Heidi and Otis created a site that is so much more than a blog. It’s a complete resource for the style obsessed bride!
Plus, Heidi is newly engaged AND will be launching an invitation line in the near future so she really brought a beautiful perspective to Style Me Pretty!

One last note…although we think that the site works great on most browsers, we have had a few problems with Internet Explorer 6. If you do use IE6, sit tight, we are working on getting the kinks out as we speak!

Abby! I love the new site! I logged on yesterday for one of my normal weekend visits- hoping that you might have added something new on Saturday or Sunday...and to my surprise the new site was up! I love the layout, I spent about an hour exploring it yesterday. And I have to admit I might have let out a squeal of joy when I saw it was up early. Great job as always!
