It’s time to announce the winners for our recent Color Palette Contest! And, I say winners (plural) because I have decided to feature two first place winners…one vote driven and one editor’s choice! After I reviewed all of the entries that were featured, I have chosen this board as a my pick…
Although there were so many boards that I loved, I chose this one because I felt like the designer really took the challenge to a new level. She found an image that completely inspired her and she ran with it. I love the vibrancy of the color palette, the beautifully cultural approach and the infusion of different textures and patterns. Great job!

It’s funny, with all of the great inspirational boards this past week, I somehow missed this one initially. I completely agree that this board takes it to a new level. Each and every element of the original inspiration is so eloquently translated in a mature, smart, and completely approachable way. And the best part is that while this is a highly-conceptual board… it could completely be duplicated and fit a wide range of budgets. Bravo!

This palette is unreal. It made me completely rethink my own colours. I’ve always wanted to use this orange/peach shade but never consider the pretty tiffany blue.
