Gorgeous photos. We are having a spring wedding – just for the lilacs! I’ve never seen a lilac wedding before. Her boquet is just what I’ve imagined. Thank you for turning the pictures in my head into a reality.

Hello,

I am starting to plan a spring wedding and I would like to use a budget of 10, 000 dollars. I was wondering if you could share your thoughts as to how the couple(Nole + Andre) pulled off a wedding for 10, 000. The pictures are beautiful. I can’t wait to read and see the details. I love the bouquet of lilacs. It feels relaxed and elegant just looking at the pictures.

Hi,
I am just starting to plan my wedding and am interested in the Woodlawn Manor in Alexandria and wondered if you would share your thoughts. I too want to have an evening ceremony and reception outdoors ideally with candles, etc..

Yep – it’s a “Claire” dress by Monique Lhuillier, which I purchased secondhand from a lovely woman in Canada (only way I could afford it!).

Hi Sarah — The bouquet actually did hold up all day. I’d always wanted that bouquet ever since seeing something similiar in an issue of MS Weddings a few years ago. My florist had me a bit worried, but it was totally worth it with the end result. The bouquet was a mixture of lilacs and sweet peas – and while the sweet peas didn’t last too long, the lilacs were surprisingly sturdy!
