Cinematography by Living Cinema

July 8th. 2008 by Abby Larson | Filed Under | 13 comments

I have to say, we really do have some of the world’s best cinematographers listed in our Little Black Book. The talent that these people are putting out is incredibly inspiring to me as both a designer and a wedding blogger. Curtis Heyne of Living Cinema is one of the best. And lucky for us, he is sharing two of his new clips with us today!

The first is so utterly romantic, in a laid-back and completely approachable way…

The second clip is just as lovely. The bride walking down the aisle with her father, the perfect smiles, the incredible music…it all comes together so beautifully…

I am not sure what it, but I am so weepy today and these clips have me completely choked up. Seeing these gorgeous weddings brought to life in such an artistic and beautiful way is just too much! Thank you so much to Curtis for sharing these clips with us!

Gorgeous! Do you know the name and/or artist of the song in the first video?

I am probably one of the most unromantic chicks you'd ever meet, but I melt over those kinds of videos. We looked into a few for our own wedding (layercakefilms.com and wellspunweddings.com - each offer different packages) but we ended up hiring a friend who will trick out the film digitally to look as if it was filmed in Super 8mm film. So if you know a video editing buff... well, we'll see and let you know!

!! that second video clip is from my own wedding. the bridesmaid dresses are from amsale - great quality. Most of my maids ended up cutting the dresses at the knee and still wear them! Something rarely done for most bridesmaid dresses...

thanks for the nice comments! good luck to everyone planning their own wedding
