July 4th!

July 4th. 2008 by Abby Larson | Filed Under | 14 comments

Happy 4th of July everyone! This is honestly one of my favorite holidays. The food, the family, the fireworks. Love it all. And guess what…I am passing it all up this weekend to work on getting our new Style Me Pretty site design fine tweaked and brushed off, so that we can launch it on our goal of July 15th.

So, in lieu of posts today, I am going to leave you with lots of Patriotic wishes and one very Patriotic Color Palette!

This palette was sent to me by Wendy, the designer behind the blog A Southern Accent.  Thanks so much, Wendy. And to everyone who is celebrating the 4th today, eat an extra hot dog for me!

This is a fun way to celebrate the 4th. The fun color themes for the weddings are a great idea for people to se what they can do. Blue Martini’s garnished with strawberries or raspberries and you have a festive drink!!
Record those memories by creating your very own storybook. You need to check out this great website. I’m secretly interviewing my family and my sister’s fiancé’s family and I’m going to create there wedding book for them. I have a great consultant helping me. Check out:

The system is amazing!! Better then I’ve ever seen and easy to use. I’ve ended up creating a book for my mom and dad that’s going to be a surprise for them as well. I’m addicted!!! It’s reeealy hard to keep a secret like this.

The bottles are from the bridal event put on by myself and Huckleberry Karen Designs put on. We used them as escort cards. The show is called Lovely Details: a wedding event held in San Francisco.
