The Smirnoff Blueberry Vodka and Martini glass magically sets off the whole palette in the most Brilliant Blues. Very attractive, excitable, yet serene. I like it!!

Blue, the most enchanting color! It gives a most magical twilight effect without stealing the beauty of the bride like overpowering warm tones can do.
I am new to this sight. And, I am a huge fan of the color palette of blues, so I did look at all suggestions ~ but would cast my vote for the blue hue. Very soothing, calming and tranquil. What a great color scheme to use to plan your most important day around! Especially fond of the stilettos (!) and would have liked to have seen the bridesmaids dresses and tuxs as well ...

I agree with Jackie. Not only is this not nearly as impressive as some of the other palettes in terms of creativity or design, it has way more comments than has been typical. Suspicious is the perfect word. I like blue as much as the next person, but...seriously?

Style Me Pretty is a blog which is held in high reguard around the weblog scene. It is a place where brides and vendors go to seek inspiration and take part in spirited contests that are more about sharing ideas than the actual prizes that they produce. The integrity of the blogs that I frequently visit is something that I hold dear as I am sure many loyal readers do.
While this comment is not inteded to provoke anyone or make wrongful accusations, I simply wish to state that the very nature of what "appears to be going on here" is not only apparent to readers and the blog author- but has an awefully condicending undertone. Come on- a vote for every minute, (Sometimes multipile votes within one minute) over the course of 2 hours.
While I agree that this board is very BLUE and that the point is made and that there will be many admirers to this board... that we should just be honest. In these types of "contests" it is generally apparent who put the most effort into a board and it is more about reaching the audience in an honest fashion and reading their comments, critiques, and inspiration drawn... than it is a lesson in who can stuff the ballot box.

Abby, FWIW, I know my family has all voted from their home PC (in other words, all from the same IP addy) so that might also be something to consider when tracking votes on entries as well. I'm aware that other people might be doing some social networking over this and I expected that when I entered, but I really appreciate you taking the time to make sure that there aren't any "sock-puppets" being created.
Honestly, for me the real prize was having my work chosen to be featured on SMP. :)

The reason blogs host contests is for exposure. Judging by all the comments on this one color palette, this contest succeeded.
The request to 'vote only once' was fair. If someone suspects abuse, then it should discretely be checked into. Specifically calling someone out and assuming something malicious is going on, is unfair... I hope that does not taint the results.
All the entries are beautifully done and I'm sure a lot of hard work went into them. Every contestant should be proud and excited to have been featured. Thank you all for sharing your work.

Then to add, "In these types of "contests" it is generally apparent who put the most effort into a board..." seems like a very passive aggressive attempt to insinuate the creator of this board didn't put as much effort into her board as others. Now who is being unfair here?
